I'm getting a little burned out renaming and hex editing. Would anyone be so kind as to e-mail me the Metal Slug 5 p1 rom we need to use along with a Kawa-X XBE already edited to xboxcavalier@yahoo.com ? I'd be eternally in your debt...

That sucks, those links don't work anymore. This might be just what I need to get it working on Kawa-X too.

I'm using Kawa-X Se too, and now I'm having slight problems with Matrimelee. Some of the graphics are garbled, being the character portraits, the KO animation, and the super animations. Any clue as to what I've done wrong, or is this a known problem?

I don't know, FBAX suffers some slowdown on my Xbox, in games that KawaX doesn't have the same problem with. Notably, Blazing Star. Now, compiling all the newest games for FBAX isn't going to get them supported by the Universe BIOS, we're still waiting on a release to support SVC and such.

I know what to do to get this running. But I'm still short the v's and m rom. Someone hit me with a WORKING link at xboxcavalier@yahoo.com, and I'll have working directiong for you tonight.

Keep us in the know, Mr X! I'm trying to get MS5 working on the Xbox, but it's not looking good at the moment. I think I'm out of my league, here.

Seems like you're the man in the know lately, Mr X, any chance of the Universe BIOS getting implemented? I think the newest version supports everything up to ROTD.

hmm... You know when you edit Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2003 to work as kof2k2nd (the old way for Kawa-X, before the new Plus and Mr X editions), that ROM loads with VERY flocked up graphics in Winkawaks, but perfect on Kawa-X. That's what popped in mind when I saw the MS5 pictures... Rumor is that the game will be released around new years in the full ROM set, so we might be wasting our time, but I'm gonna give this a shot... Edit:And I'm only doing this because I have the time available and it just doesn't make sense to me that they released an incomplete ROMset without a reason. I know we'll have to split the P1 rom into 4 meg and a 1 meg P2...

Think there's any chance that the remaining roms are the same as they used in Metal Slug 4? That could explain why they didn't release the full set. Just wondering because when I got Metal Slug 4 on the Neo, and saved it, the Neo thought it was Metal Slug 3. They'd used some of the same code then.

Well I'm mostly interested in getting Rage of the Dragons running on FBAX, the Unibios has cheats for it. Anyone playin it knows the boss is impossible to beat.

I hope everyone has had a chance to check out the new FBAx for Xbox, it's added in support for the Universe BIOS on NeoGeo games (giving options basically like a gameshark would give). Wondering if anyone has gotten it good and hacked to play the newest games yet? That, or we gotta get the Universe BIOS running in Kawa-X. This thing is sweet. None of us will ever beat Art of Fighting 2 without the Universe BIOS.

Anyone have the full set with all the games and correct names up for download yet? Including CTHD2k3, of course. I've got em all working now, but not showing the correct names.

OK, I've got a consolized 2 slot sitting here, anyone figured out how to get the Unibios to work on the Xbox? I've got it in this 2slot, it's great.

OK, today I had the hardware test menu pop up in kawa-x when playing SVC, and my g/f just told me it happens all the time to her. What have we done, and how do we access this any time we want to?

Another thanks and confirmation, SVC Chaos Plus is now up and running in perfect form.

Got p1 to 1 meg, p2 to 5 meg, and double m1 to 256 already. It's been getting to P1 then hanging up on me. I'm gonna try it out this way now (after I save the version for ROTD, or course, I like that game too.)

Oh, well that might be why it didn't work. Back to work again...

The CTHD2003.zip you download will contain v roms, but it's really the same v roms used in KOF 2001. There's also a download floating around that's smaller that doesn't contain them. I swear I don't think I can do this winhex hack thing. I'll keep trying I guess. Now I know it's really 0.11, which is what I was trying, and I couldn't get to some of those values for some reason. Can you explain in some newbie type detail?
