AmiArcadia and WinArcadia emulate these Signetics-based machines:

* the Emerson Arcadia 2001 console family (Bandai, Emerson,

Grandstand, Intervision, Leisure-Vision, Leonardo, MPT-03, Ormatu,

Palladium, Poppy, Robdajet, Tele-Fever, Tempest, Tryom, Tunix,

etc.) (1982);

* the Interton VC 4000 console family (Acetronic, Fountain, Hanimex,

Interton, Prinztronic, Radofin, Rowtron, Soundic, Voltmace,

Waddington, etc.) (c. 1978);

* the Elektor TV Games Computer (1979);

* PIPBUG-based machines (such as the EA 77up2, EA 78up5, the

Signetics Adaptable Board Computer, and the Eurocard 2650)

(c. 1977-1978); and

* the Signetics Instructor 50 computer (1978).

Features include: ReAction GUI, load/save snapshots, windowed and full-

screen modes, CPU tracing, trainer, drag and drop support, graphics

Genesis emulator for the iPhone and iTouch

Another day another release...but this time it's a fan fav! Today's release is genesis4iphone v2.0.0. It emulates the Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) and Sega CD consoles for iPhone and iPod Touches running 2.x.x firmware.

 

It is available via my public repo/source on Cydia. Cydia comes with my source pre-installed.

 

Here's what is new in genesis4iphone v2.0.0:

 

- A port of Notaz's continued support of PicoDrive.

- New interface/GUI similar to mame4iphone.

- Sound has been heavily improved! To enable sound, goto Now Playing and turn up the volume slider before entering a game.

- Save state support is now working.

- Supports zipped ROMs, and they happen to load much faster than unzipped ROMs...still!

- Sega CD support is implemented though currently untested by me.

 

Keep in mind I was short on available time to work on genesis4iphone so I implemented the same skin as mame4iphone. Both of these were ported from GP2X handheld softwares, so I tried to find a skin that had the same amount of buttons as the GP2X. Hence why both of these skins are a bit odd.

Genesis emulator

The emulator with the weirdest names, and no sense of version numbering, has been updated today - along with their site.

1) Try to fix the bugs on ATI HD2600 etc..

2) Adjust DAC.

3) Adjust YM2612.

4) Adjust PCM.

5) Deleted some filters.Update Gens32 Filter II.

6) Update Gens32 IO for some hack use.

- GameEx can now use an external video player

- Foreground images are now supported for the standard modules

- Now supports three custom artwork paths for emulators. Supporting both png and jpg, and also pdf files

- Searching media is now faster

- Fixes emulator artwork not showing if not using a database
