MSXAdvance V0.1 31 March 2006

Sorry for the latenes, I have been trying to dump some of my old C64 discs.

Anyway, here is MSXAdvance V0.1 for you all to download =)

 

This is a MSX1 emulator for the GBA.

It was just a quick and dirty hack from Cologne.

 

Features:

* A lot of games can actually be played.

 

Missing:

* Not all keys are mapped to the GBA.

* Correct sprite collision and overflow.

* Screen modes 1 & 3.

* Savestates.

 

Bugs:

* Probably a lot.

* The sound sucks.

Thanks to some help from Corrado Tomaselli / Mame Italia Forum another Semicom game, Toppy and Rappy is now working in MAME. The Final Boss is Hyper Pacman

He said this on IRC about it:

its not great (a bit boring) but better than sea hunter

it has some stupid bugs tho.. if you die while the boss is jumping the boss runs around in the air (at the position it was jumping ;p) until it dies

but semicom never really did much testing on their games i guess

Amiga disks using standard PC hardware.

 

Requirements:

 

- Windows 2000/XP/2003

- BIOS support for 2 floppy drives

- 2 non-USB floppy drives installed on the same cable

- Regular format Amiga disks without any copy-protection

- A normal PC-formatted 1.44M floppy
