I've been getting bothered all the time to install the service pack 2

Right now i have service pack 1 and i seem to be doing fine without it...

I have never experienced any of those claims that it slows down games.

I've got it and haven't noticed a difference really. Which I guess is probably a good thing. I don't use IE though, and most of the updates pertained to it.

It works for me. Most of the sheet comes from the firewall. If you alreaddy have experience running a fw, sp2 shouldn't be much a prob. I would get it just so to prevent having to install all those previous hotfixes.

I have never experienced any of those claims that it slows down games.

so that pretty much means that you downloaded/installed it and it worked perfectly?
