Wizard Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Well, coming from Iggy, it's testing in China and Korea*(since theres a korean flyer, i'm saying korea too).
L.S.D Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Damn, why can't they come up with Shenmue 3 first???? They should complete the story first before coming out with this crap!!
BobRedthorp Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 How about they just ditch this idea and make shenmue part 3! lol
Sultan Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 this would be a great model for a mmorpg if they stay true to the original concept of the game. I like the idea of people having to teach each other moves. But I can't help but think a mmorpg would lose a lot of the original gameplay, like all the voice. How could that possible be incorporated without like 30gb of audio tracks? I've always thought all the online game suffer with a lack of voice. Star Wars Galaxies would be much better if you could hear random npc voices when you walked down a street.

Maybe they found a way??

Agozer Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 And Galaxies is how big?Star Wars Galaxies is a prime example of a great idea gone bad. I'm still waiting them to make a good Star Trek game that doesn't suck (Elite Force doesn't count.) Is Star Wars Galaxies an MMORPG?

Actually there was a decent Star Trek game, Star Trek: Bridge Commander. It's a strategy game where you command the Enterprise. And the old Star Trek adventure games with Captain Kirk were awesome!
