Ash_crimson Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 all good for japan, america and canada... what about england.. Europe usually gets screwed over so that the really good releases never get here...So, I don't know. But like with most things, don't get your hopes too high. my hopes aint too high but i just recently bought a dreamcast so i could play it... but a ps2 version would be nice
Wizard Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 The only differences between the DC and PS2, is that the PS2 has the options to use the first version of 3s.
Ash_crimson Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 yeah but hopefully the grafix will look better... i think its coz im playing the ntsc on a pal console it looks funny at time... but its playable... and fun
Wizard Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 Hopefully they don't do anything to the graphics. The game is so damn smooth I don't want a frame missing! Oh and because you have a PAL DC, NTSC games look funky because NTSC-USA/J games run on 60Hz (NTSC TV) and PAL games run on 50Hz.

shin_nihon_kikaku Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 BGM SELECT?!?!?!!?! Wicked! It's always a sign of a quality game / conversion. (Soul Edge, Tekken 1,2,3, VF2 etc)
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 I doubt the PS2 can have full frames for this game. It may manage it, but I'm not holding my breath. It struggled with the awful amount of frames in CvS2.
Wizard Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 Aside from the DC's versions Input lag, the DC version is the best one.

When you try to run and NTSC game on a PAL system, usually one of the two things will happen: 1) The game is black and white and looks interlaced.2) The screen is heavily distorted + see 1) My TV does the first. If it's only slightly distorted and does have full colors, don't worry about it; At least, I wouldn't...unless the distortion bugs the hell out of you.

Prican25 Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 i'm still wondering if usa is gonna get both versions. since japan had hyper sf2 as a single game i can understand the extras for sf3 but usa sf aniversary will have both games on 1 disc. if its gonna be on dvd chances are it will but still not 100% sure
Captain FuKu Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 This version is gonna be better than DC because while DC version was an edited ver. with the glitches taken out, this new one will supposedly have both the arcade perfect version and the one included in the DC, no? Anyway, this game may have been delayed. http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/243628.asp Check out the pre-order shipping date. It better not have been delayed! Those fu*ckers!! Sh*t ALWAYS gets delayed! Damn.
