hi all this is kinda request but it does relte to dc emulation in its purpose

 

i am a huge vertical scroller fan (i mean i beat Mars Matrix withoout gettin hit once) an i really need the http link for ikaruga (its 17mbs or sumthin like that

so if this could be done thanks and if not a torrent link will be fine ** thanks in advanced

But you can definitely find Ikaruga by using DC++. Did you search Suprnova for a torrent?

 

EDIT: It'll be tough to find an HTTP with DC ISOs even though Ikaruga is hella small.

any one who has this game, how the fuk do you use a continue, I cant get past the second level and after 3 to 4 continues the continue screen just counts down to zero

 

I know i suck but does any one have the same problem?

You don't have infinite continues. Atleast I don't think you do otherwise I am having that problem as well.

no you only have 4 continues (unless your in practice mode)... i have only beaten this game once (and i am a god in vertical scrollers) so good luck all... and if you do beat it... SNAPIT heh heh

At least in the GameCube version, you got more credits by having the total play time exceed a certain value. But alas, I'm not sur if this applies to the Dreamcast version.

Its really weird to see Ikaruga being only about 20 megs. The first time I saw that number I thought it was a fake. But to my surprise its the real deal! How can a game with such awesome graphics, sound, and gameplay be so small while other crappier shooters like Gunbird and Border Down be so huge? The mysteries of the universe.

Hi there.

 

i Managed to get the game work on my pc.

But i wanna burn this wannado/ikaruga game on CD for playing it on my DC. How to burn?

 

I used Padus 4.1 with several different settings, i used Nero 6 via cdi2nero, and also i tried Alcohol. Nothing works. Now almost 10 CDrs are for the trashbin.

Try downloading the game from a different place. It may just be one you have is no good.

But, i loaded everything possible. 3 different version from e*ule, and the last that i found here, the posted version from SSJKullilin http://perso.wanadoo.fr/shadowroom/Ikaruga...DI.Bootable.rar, it was working with chankast on my pc. It´s getting booting without probs, i can play the whole game, but if a want to burn it, i get nothing work to on my DC. And i have many different other games working as selfbootable on my DC, the only Game that isn´t going to start is ikaruga.

That is a very odd problem Bimma...Ikaruga was the first game I downloaded and it worked.

 

Are you using the same kind of CD-Rs that your other DC games are burned on? I don't think that should make a diffrence but this is very perplexing.

Hi.

 

RAW/DAO. I think that i tested everything. I heard that the availbale cdis are corrupted in the way, that they don´t have the correct cdi settings inside. Therefore some users say, that you have to burn with setttings x or y. Nothing works.

 

At the moment, i´m loading "Border Down and Ikaruga" in one imagefile. If this doesn´t work, i´don´t know.
