Gryph Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 I'd enjoy the Half-Life movie if I get to write the screenplay.
Shibathedog Posted June 6, 2004 Author Posted June 6, 2004 yeah some should be good, but ill see em anyway just for the support of the great games theyre made from (eer...most of em anyway)
Diso Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 A lot of those would be interesting to see MECHWARRIOR <--- YAYAYAYAYAY YAYAYYAY EXPLOSIONS!!!! I'm defenitely going to see that one. Tekken already had a movie and it was animated so meh. Pac-man..Man I want to see that... How many drug references can you make in a pac-man movie. Pac-man: Oh no slime people are coming. A POWER PILL!!!*Pac-man Gets bigger*Pac-Man: Woot. *pulls out sword* BANZAI!Inky: What In the ****!? The others would be nice to see but Mechwarrior and Pac-man Are probably a defenite must. And what about Meteroid? Most people would go just to see Samus with out the armor anyways Doom and Silent Hill would be scary. Doom alone just has a corridor and a zombie appears and soldiers already go HOLY CRAP! Alright My ranting is done
Gryph Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 And what about Meteroid? Most people would go just to see Samus with out the armor anyways I wonder if John Woo is going to direct this one...but he said he would never do sci-fi. But he did Paycheck...but that wasn't pure sci-fi. Oh well, he went downhill after Face/Off anyway. Well he started going downhill after he left Hong Kong but that's enough ranting from me.
Agozer Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I has been confirmed that John Woo is directing the Metroid movie. As for who plays the leading part, I have no clue.
Wizard Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Lets hope it's someone down right gorgous and sexy to fit in that suit of armor.
Gryph Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Lets hope it's someone down right gorgous and sexy to fit in that suit of armor.Oh really? I was hoping they would cast Camryn Manheim or Kathy Bates.
Shibathedog Posted June 7, 2004 Author Posted June 7, 2004 Actually all the ID games/Carmack/McGee movies are all going to be under strict standards so they should rule All this Doom 3 stuff is enough to make me piss myself!!!
shifter Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 heres the site & preview for bloodrayne http://www.bloodrayne-themovie.com/trailer...wtrailer_hi.zip
Skythe Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Same guy that directed House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark is doing Bloodrayne. That's right folks. It's already destined to suck. He even thinks that because he's putting a lesbian scene in the damn movie that it will be an instant hit because of that. LAME!
Gryph Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Anything Uwe Boll touches or even looks at turns to gooey crap.
Skythe Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 (edited) And people b!tch about Paul Anderson not making his films exactly like the games. There's something those morons that believe that don't understand. Paul Anderson kept his films faithful to there origins. It may not be exact but it's faithful. Uwe just sh!ts out horrible ideas because he's a member of the Idiot Crowd and thinks it'll be successful for that. I hate people. I don't recall people b!thing at Paul when Mortal Kombat wasn't exactly like the game but because Resident Evil wasn't exactly like the first game. Pffft! They are thankful Romero didn't do it. I read the script and it's worst than anything Uwe can crap out. Edited March 8, 2005 by Skythe
Wizard Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 MK1 and RE2 was some goodsheit. He can make good movie games. But not comic ones (god he ruined the comic)
Daeval Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 They gave Uwe Boll Far Cry AND Hunter: The Reckoning. There is no smilie that expresses my displeasure.
Agozer Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 They gave Uwe Boll Far Cry AND Hunter: The Reckoning. There is no smilie that expresses my displeasure.Aye. Paul W.S. Anderson is like a director god compared to him.
