anyone got a release date yet  :unsure:

 

i cant wait for them to release final zinc, waiting for them to pull off a big surprise like TTT  :P i am dreaming too much.

Nope, no release date yet. DynaChicken certainly doesn't rush things.

i hope they take there time, we want a good final product at the end anyway  :D

that's most likely why it's taking long. Especially to add in new games that work perfectly :D

I heard the main programmer is abonding emulation and computers completely and is going out to New Zealand to become a sheep farmer or something

 

...and he is planning on keeping the emulator close source :P

Yes this is true. :huh: ZiNc won't be open-source and DynaChicken will move to New Zealand (I don't know about the sheep farmer thing though.)

Probably because he takes great pride with his programming skills and doesn't want people modifying his work and taking all the credit.

 

It really is sad the the final itteration of Zinc will be upon us (who knows when though), but as long as it's good, I don't really mind.

i still think he should give the source to emulation coders, i know i would.

How does Zinc work? I tried it one time on my Pentium 4 2.00 GHz 256 MB RAM intern but it did not work...

ZiNc is run through the commandline, just clicking Zinc.exe doesn't run emulator

 

Get a Aldo's ZiNc frontend from http://www.aldostools.com
