SInce Matrix Online is around the corner, why don't we form a faction for the game?

Team 1emulation!! How about that? :(

Posted

I wish it was ShadowRun insted.

Hmmm, yeah Shadowrun would be cooler. But I've yet to recieve any official word on it... :(

Eh...and 1emulation team sounds...bad...

A team would be cool, but we should give it a better name.

Suggest a good name then.

And elect Gamecop as the leader. He is always so Oracle-ish. :(

Yeah, I'll think about that.

It takes me a while to come up with a good name.

But how about Jacob's Ladder? I thought of that earlier for something else. It kinda fits in with the Matrix's religous references...

But the first question is, how many people actually plan on buying this game and then paying the monthly fee to play it?

I bet the game will be another game to play for a few months, then get boring. Happened to FFXI with me, but I'm back into it, since there was a patch that added A FSCK TON OF stuff

not me.. if there were no fee, maybe but still doubtful. the matrix just isn't all that anymore. if this game woulda came out before the 2 sequels it would be huge! but the last 2 movies and the last game have tainted the matrix licence.

I usually don't play games for more than 1 month anyway. So if I bought it, I'd only pay for the first month. And sometimes they give you a free month.

They shouldn't charge full-price for an on-line game and THEN expect you to pay a monthly fee. That's too much. They should either a)give the games away for free and charge you to play them or b)charge full-price and then give you unlimited (or at least a 100+) free hours of play for them. Who agrees with me?

Some downloadable p2p games are as big as 500 megs, I don't want to waste my bandwidth for an MMORPG thats 2 Gigs just to download, its just not worth it to some people who would rather own an actual CD/DVD of the game just in case.

Anyways, most mainstream MMORPGs have a 30 Day/1 month free trial. And the fees are basically pay for server costs, when you see the fee raise, you know somethings going on in the Network department.

I will not play this game if they expect me to buy it and then pay more just to play the damn thing....one of the reasons why I don't play online games in the first place.

thats the reason why i dont like MMORPGs, why do they expect you to pay for the game if your not likely going to play it for a month, and when you buy the hefty price tag on the game

even though FFXI hasnt come out in Australia yet, i probably wont get it when it does, cause i just dont want to have to pay for the game monthly, 13 USD probably end up as 20+ in AUD...

i just get free MMORPGs or ones that are in beta testing stages, like Pristontale or Risk Your Life, they are good games too... until a few weeks have gone by
