Wizard Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 most wrestling matches suck cuz theyre fake...........Watch UFC if you don't like the fakeness of the WWE. I'd rather watch matches that are over the top and not too realistic than 2 minutes of "real" fighting. ECW was fake, but it was fscking great wrestling compared to WWE. AT LEAST THE BLOOD, SWEAT and FIRE was real.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted April 22, 2004 Author Posted April 22, 2004 wrestling is over, I think the indrustry of wrestling is falling
Shibathedog Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 yeah really, and WWE had all those retarded off-spins like that horrible XFL football crap WWE is waaaay to fake, they swing a pucnh like 3 feet from the guy and the other guy pretends to be hurt Every match is the same too: One guy comes in, the other comes in, one of them kicks the crap outta the other guy, the other guy rolls all over the floor for about 15 minutes like a wimp while the other guy gives some bullcrap dramatic speech, while the guy is giving the speech, the guy rolling on the floor makes an amazing recovery and kicks the other guys ass while his back is turned The endings are random though either that guy will winThe other guy who just got his ass kicked will make a recovery and winor they go through the cycle another 3 times and pick one of the above two
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted April 22, 2004 Author Posted April 22, 2004 indeed...... fakeness disgusts me
Gryph Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Once I was subjected to watching some WWE and it was just terrible. This lame-o wrestler walked around "rapped" about how he was going to pummel his opponent. Then the scene changes to some "drama" between these two wrestlers that looks horribly rehearsed. I was rolling on the floor with laughter on how bad it was.
Mr.X Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Yokozuna is the last Grand Champion title in Sumo wrestling.

L.S.D Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Some of the moves in wrestling is not fake!Sure, most of the matches are scripted but the moves performed by wrestlers are simply awesome. For example, Brock Lesnar's F5. Can you imagine a 200 pound guy picking up a 500 pound man and put him on his shoulder and twist him around in the air??That is why Brock is a fan favourite in such a short time.RVD's 5 Star Frog Splash. Can you named one athlete who can change direction while flying in mid-air and crashing down on the opponent on the mat? THat cannot be fake!Sure, some of the moves look fake. ( The People's Elbow come into mind. But still, I love this move ) But the wrestlers really give all out to entertain the fans.Thank you for that

I mean, who can remember Tajiri during his ECW run when he would Brainbuster Super Crazy thru a table? Or the way Benoit broke Sabu's neck. Hell, even when Mick took all those unprotected chairshots to the head! OH OH! Who remember, or even knows of what Benoit used to do! A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER OFF THE TOPROPE way before Undertaker did it at all. And as for the wreslter turing while in midair, The Great Sasuke. Owner of Michinoku Pro and a politcal figure in Japan. He ran for major in his hometown, and he still wares his mask!

Then, i miss out the whole Attitude era until the WWE/WCW feud, I think (where Vince vs Shane and Stephanie). That's where I start to watch wrestling again and never turn back since. It seems that I miss out a lot of greats
BoomBa_GoosE Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 man all i gotta say bout wrestling is that yes, its as fake as Weapons of Mass Destruction, but it takes a lot of energy to do those "performances". But still, ive been a big fan for over 10 years, and the only reason why i can stand it is because i got imagination. jus like video games, it takes u away from the harsh reality we all live in....
