What do you think was the best year(s) of music?

Yeah 80s were pretty huge. My last semester in college I added 80s to my show. It went well with the anime and game music naturally

early 90's songs are tooooo slow and the rock only rock that I remember was from the summer, which just gives me a headache if I listen to it now

 

2003 was a good year for trance I guess :\

I like classic rock, trance music, dance music, eurodance, J-pop, punk too. Best years of music: 70's, 80's, 2001-2003's.

for me, it's 1992 when the future sound of london went supernova with papua new guinea (accelerator album... ep was released in '91). all my music's been 'electronic' since. now mostly *beat and ambient... and a bit of downtempo. pop used to be good... in the 80's. doesn't interest me now.

 

oh yeah, and the year when a-ha made the 'take on me' video... i thought it was the coolest~ i still have that ep vinyl somewhere~ anyone remember what year that was?
