James Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 (edited) ???at www.neo-arcadia.vze.com there is a new update of kawks that can run metal slug 5, metal slug 4, rage of the dragons, kof 2002, power instinct melee, samurai shodown 5, capcom vs. snk plus final, and crouching tiger hidden dragon 2003. right now the site is closed, but it will be back tommorow,(luckily i got mine last night with all those games). Note* you have to download the roms off of there site because other sites have different files. even if the other file u downloaded is of by 1kb from the neo-arcadia versions it wont work.hhmm you can get roms from other sites that work fine in kawaks so please post facts not fiction thank you Edited January 12, 2004 by james
alexis Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 it doesn´t seemlike a hack, a new add.dat file should do the trick, although having a thread about where to get the best add.dat file would be cool even if in the dl page you have the whole kawaks zip you can dl just the dat file with download accelerator plus
alexis Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 (edited) this thread actually belongs to general arcade section, the topic will be moved there Edited January 12, 2004 by alexis

alexis Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 I don't like Kawaks....NeogeoX is the best!yeah, it is a gr8 emu, its video interpolation could be better though
Agozer Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 (edited) I don't like Kawaks....NeogeoX is the best!yeah, it is a gr8 emu, its video interpolation could be better though Yeah, I think so too...I have to give credit to NeoRAGEx for still competing against Kawaks, Nebula and FBA...even when the official release was discontinued 3½ years ago. ryder Posted January 14, 2004 Posted January 14, 2004 For those who couldnt get it to work in Xp, just right click the loader then set compatibility to win98 and it should work, at least it did for me
alexis Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 there is a file i downloaded form emuhelp which is called ng.exe and gicves you no problem on xp
Lucian Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 I love NeoRage X and all especially since its the only emu I have right now that plays Metal Slug 5. But anyways does anyone have a link to an add.dat file or a hacked kawaks to play Mslug 5 and samsho and all those other games. I have every NeoGeo game available for download cept kof2003 and the only ones I cant play in Kawaks are pissing me off. If you could help me with that it would be wonderful. Oh and joystick support rather sucks in NRX, especialy with my usb controllers I have to keep unplugging them and putting them back in if I tab in and out. But I have absoltely no probs with kawaks
