new free to download rom for the nes released today called sir abadol.
they have also kindly released the sourcecode for the game.

Literally just days after having announced they were porting their Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum platformer to the Nintendo NES, The Mojon Twins have already released a downloadable ROM of Sir Ababol for the 8-bit console.

While we were all very much expecting a purchasable physical cartridge release, The Mojon Twins instead have generously released this title for free online. What makes this download much more interesting, however, is that they have also made available the source code for this title. Those interested in creating their own NES games now have a fantastic starting point for their very own scrolling platformer.

If this free download wasn't impressive enough already, those who have invested in a Nintendo NES or Famicom Everdrive, the Everdrive N8, will be pleased to know that this ROM file works on the original hardware.
