law56kerz Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I have tried dual layer dvd's on my xbox, but it is unable to read them, has anyone had success making a dual layer? fumanchu Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 some xbox drives cannot read dual layered dvds (IIRC),i am not sure if coinops can play off a dvd or not as i always just play it of the hdd.do you have any space at all on your xbox hdd? gamez fan Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 dont see any reason you couldnt play coinops of a disc thats how i used my old mamedox set back in the day but i do think you get better performance when running your emus on the HDD only issue i can see is disc size as videos and some console roms ie psx would take up a huge chunk of space Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You never know when a hardrive will go bad. I also have a couple friends with xbox's and it's fun to bring over your custom made collection of emulators and favorite games.
