deadcalm1 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 (edited) 100 percent bull I only worked with Final Burn code as it was obsolete get over it....my code runs the xbe named in romstatus.xml and adds the game.txt file...when Final Burn or Final Burn Legends runs one of its xbes it looks for this name in game.txt and runs it.........so I produced a commandline launcher... So ***100 percent total crap i used FBL *****(but yes its a quick easy patch to add it for sure but I dont see any point for it, its still in progress and in the readme it asked not to do it)******Final Burn was offically discontinued****** and its all I ever used as its all I wanted So in all anyone that claims anything else is talking 100percent crap and if they find anything to prove it wrong post it here that will be funny im sure as I know exactly whats in it..............these people guess or are ignorant and mostly just premadonas..... Sure BP. Whoops. I meant M.I.A. Whatever you say. Cut the PR facade already. You know what the right thing to do for the scene is, but you always find a way to put yourself first. Some people just can't see that. All they see are your incremental updates comprised of work either done mostly by others or taken from others, with a fancy title attached to it. If you worked on CoinOPS and got help from the other developers who offered it or gave you their consent to add their work, that is 100% fine. But that isn't the whole story with you and you know it. It's funny how its always you who trolls the threads made by other developers who are trying to produce something good for XBox users. It's always you who has issues with other developers or talking down to users who don't kiss your rear end. You seek to draw all kinds of attention to yourself, be it negative or positive. You NEED this and you know it. Your drama has hurt the scene dude. I used to be a defender and a believer and I wanted people to just leave you be so you could keep your apps going. Then I saw everything for what it truly was. Even how stagnant ConOpS is without willing or unwilling contributors. People can wish for you to hang around and beg for more of your antics, but I will not. You've done more harm to us than good at this point. All you had to do was show a bit more decency and respect to other developers. They are the ones who keep the XBox Scene up and going. i hope you havent set that back or destroyed it this time. MAME on the Xbox (and ConOPs) really needs a core update more than anything else. You are skilled remember? We aren't. So when will you get started on that core update? Hopefully that takes priority for you when you do your next underground release. Go ahead and close this thread. When the going gets tough.... Stop with the PR moves at this point already. BritneysPAIRS Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 Well you see my respect dont you....repect is earnt he didnt want to listen to stuff, the person who coded it for him was fine about it in fact excellent about it all......... and as you see how much I liked his gui I removed it completely make your own threads guys I see how they go......tumble weeds what are you going to add in the future a diff background pick that will be awsome I think we could see maybe 10 background pics in a year...it will take a whole team talking about it for a while to do it but hey it will be well worth the wait............ Id still recommend mods close it down I could but people love it

BP only used abandoned Final Burn sources not FBL.Also 95% of all Xbox homebrew is compiled with stolen SDK so we are all in big pirate ship. No he's not kidding. He's dead on. Final Burn 1.1 has two cores. It has a Final Burn core and a Final Burn Alpha core. BP stole the Final Burn Alpha core. It is the exact core used in Final Burn Legends. Everyone should ask themselves how many new Xbox projects have been released in the last two years. The answer is zero. Now ask yourself how many I will be porting in the next two years? The answer is also zero. If someone wants to improve on Final Burn that's fine. Stealing it is not. BP does not have my consent. He can do what he wants, but it is the Xbox scene that will suffer. You are just showing your ignorance. Here's a hint: I am an expert on my code. Turbo Outrun was not playable in Final Burn 0.517. It was only playable in FBA. Also its out dated sources with no gui and only using .01 percent of supported games it shouldnt be any threat to your project.

Now you go and steal his work. You deprived the scene of some good benefits with your selfish immaturity BP. You care about keeping a mass of users around who will worship you out of blind ignorance. How long will that last? You talk about other people having no skill, but you don't have the skill to keep the Xbox Scene alive. Not by yourself. Especially considering how you had to steal and beg others to make real improvements to your stagnant app. ConOPS should have been laid to rest long ago. At this point, it exists as a tool for you to get your ego stroked for minimal efforts on your end. You are still around even though you claim to be "gone." The dead horse was dragged over the finish line for as far as you could take it long ago. iq_132 has made all the meaningful improvements recently. I salute him out of sincere gratitude for doing what he did for you, but he really did it for the scene like the class act that he is. I dont really care in all honesty if you feel that way its all good...I have no worries about what has gone on I work with people when I can if not well life continues on I cant do much more than that.... hey but for sure make some new threads start helping nes6502 out hes the way forward....and hes certainly got the skills I hope you guys use your energies and work together instead of deviding yourself as ive said many times I keep soldiering on with or without you guys...I waited for years and it was if I wanted something done I did it myself(im 100percent happy about the product I helped tidy up and use it daily....I personally dont use any other emulator, I hope one day ill look at something and go thats awsome but hey thats another thread) Im tired and CoinOPS has reached where I wanted it to (with a couple of exceptions) so its time to move forward but ill release the work without my name on it for anyone to have and hopefully enjoy, I dont care about my avatar ive had many and still use many ....there will be others and this day is fleeting

That means you do use other emulators while pretending they're your work. yeah. Whats with this word "passionate?" Is that what you felt as you were sitting back watching nes6502 get all that great feedback, gratitude, and attention for trying to keep the Xbox scene alive with the only new app we've seen developed in years? He contributed a phenomenal update to us that I didnt even get a chance to thank him for before you stole it. Your "passion" is for people to kiss your ass and you will steal and step over people to satisfy that. I feel nothing but disappointment as i respond to you. In reality, I feel sorry for the users and other developers who will suffer because of your actions when all is said and done. You have never learned to control yourself and not enough people were around to give you any reason to change. if users want to express their approval of the way you do things, then so be it. I'd let you have the Xbox scene too. Users who cant see this are not worth taking the time to sacrifice so much of one's life to. Let's see you keep the Xbox Scene going Mr. VIP. You are better than everyone else remember? You are the "great" BP. So keep the scene from being stagnant like you've done with ConOPS. After mulling that one over for a bit, I wish you luck with that. I wont be supporting you EVER, but there are others you know of who are still devoted to you, over the Xbox scene itself. The answer is also zero. I can confirm that. Nothing happened during this two years in the Xbox arcade emulation world. There was CoinOps, and a strange french guy who was working on an FBA-XXX Pro update. Then comes Final Burn Legend. For the first time people can have a 100% accurate arcade emulator on Xbox, with a nice UI and all the features it was possible to put in it. And this project is not leading by a dickhead. This project is an open source project, as he is himself the port of an open source project, FBA. It also include part of others open source projects, as FB, FBA-XXX Pro 1.29 etc. For one time people could find the source code in the same place as binaries, which is definitly uncommon in the Xbox scene. It allows people who wanna contribute or simply learn C basics to do what they want, if they respect the license. All was well in the best possible world. Now i come here, and see that mister BP, without complex, grabed part of the FBL code and integrated it in his own build called CoinOps (myself i call it QueerOps, it sounds better). If i read carefully all the post, he didn't do something bad and was in his right, as always. After having about 90% of post related to QueerOps ("oh my god i modified two byte of my code i should do a new release then starting a new thread on this forum), we have now 90% of flamming posts related to QueerOps (sorry i mean CoinOps). And i don't even speak about the pol as "Who have the biggest one?". So most users and devs are annoying by only one guy who based his notoriety on stealing others work, and this guy can still post quietly on all the forums lol. That's crazyness. Myself i'm currently writing an useless post at 3:00 AM instead of sleeping and getting excited on my keyboard lmao. I won't be spending my time working so someone else can get the credit. I understand completely. and it means that users will not see more release of FBL, and it also means (mister BP you probably doesn't consider that point) that devs who has contribute and wanna contribute more are getting f****. I have some nice (unfinished) pieces of code that i should now throw to garbage, as it will be a waste of time to polish them. Thanks BP, hopefully you're here.
