Devia Eleven Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 My Xbox 360 has the RRoD, even though the DVD Drive is flashed. I cannot figure out why the Xbox has the RRoD, it isn't overheating, and the only conclusion that I can come to is that it is because it is modded. Inky Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 the RRoD is a heat issue, the board gets hot and sags damaging solders on the gpu. check out the penny fix.http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=606431I did it over a year ago and have been fine ever since. you have nothing to loose anyways since th box is modded, no warranty.
