Inky Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 they did not add any frames of animation. just new sprites so any gameplay jumpyness is the original frame count. just more noticeable in HD. adding frames would have changed the gameplay and timing and they didn't want to do that.

All their doing other then rebalancing and changing music is removing all the old art assets and replacing them with new ones. inksauce is right, adding frames changes gameplay and timing. Since the remix portion of the game and some possible new moves (such as the faux hado) already use existing animations in game and no extra frame adding or subtracting required.
Devia Eleven Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I agree, and I also didn't think anyone else could analyze it has well as you two.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Oh well, looking forward to it as well. Hope it gets a PC version with netplay. That would be awesome. But the music is the only thing that puts me off, and a lot...
L.S.D Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 i really wish there was a PSP version It might be! I don't think the graphic is very high end. PSP should be able to handle it.
Wishdokta Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 I don't think the graphic is very high end. I thought it's all about the HD resolution. Why making (big) HD graphics and convert them into (small) again? Sounds like many steps to me.

PSP should be able to handle it.If they did make a port for the PSP, it would most likely be AE or the Dreamcast version it's based on. But this is HDremix son, 720p+ and go nuts. Like I previously said, they are only replacing art. Not making new animations.
L.S.D Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Ok, i was thinking of SFIV when I asked for PSP version. Totally forget about this game I would just download the Hyper Street Fighter Turbo version and play it on CPS2 emulator then
BlackKnight Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 3S on PSP, fools. That is where the so called biatch is at.
