they did not add any frames of animation. just new sprites so any gameplay jumpyness is the original frame count. just more noticeable in HD. adding frames would have changed the gameplay and timing and they didn't want to do that.

Bingo. All their doing other then rebalancing and changing music is removing all the old art assets and replacing them with new ones. inksauce is right, adding frames changes gameplay and timing. Since the remix portion of the game and some possible new moves (such as the faux hado) already use existing animations in game and no extra frame adding or subtracting required.

It might be! I don't think the graphic is very high end. PSP should be able to handle it.

I thought it's all about the HD resolution. Why making (big) HD graphics and convert them into (small) again? Sounds like many steps to me.

If they did make a port for the PSP, it would most likely be AE or the Dreamcast version it's based on. But this is HDremix son, 720p+ and go nuts. Like I previously said, they are only replacing art. Not making new animations.

I would just download the Hyper Street Fighter Turbo version and play it on CPS2 emulator then :P
