BlackKnight Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 A cash-in is a generic work that uses a strong brand name to perform better than it otherwise would have. Rocky Balboa was this kind of cash-in- it was a terrible film no one would have seen if it wasn't called 'Rocky'. That said, why should I bother to see Rambo? Even if it is upto the par of previous films, I'm not a fan of them.
Gryph Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Then just say that. But Rambo is not a generic work. It's much better than the second and third movies.
Gryph Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Ah yes, I don't really pay attention anymore.
L.S.D Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Rambo is so 80's ago. People still watching it after all these years?!?
Gryph Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Rambo is so 80's ago. People still watching it after all these years?!?Yes...what does the age of the original movies have to do with the new one? It's a continuation.
