The naming scheme makes perfect sense since he is brining back these dormant characters after such a long time and these movies are all about the character. It's not important that it is the 4th movie in the series. All that matters is that is Rambo. Do you know anything about branding? Edit: Also, how does it completely ruin everything? Please explain this statement. Is this movie going to suck because it doesn't have 4 at the end of the title? I don't understand this exaggeration. I think it's a stupid thing to think it ruins everything because of something this trivial.

No. Anyone with half a brain and knowledge of the last 20 years of cinema knows that Rambo is a series of action movies about a lone ranger type dude. No one has to be reminded that it is a sequel by putting a number at the end of the name. This movie is a reintroduction of the Rambo character just as Rocky was a reintroduction (and end) of that character.

L.S.D Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I'm not a fan of Stallone's movies. So, i think I'll give it a miss. I only enjoy one Stallone's movie, which is Demolition Man and it is due to Wesley Snipes. I'll give this a miss and wait for a pirated DVD
