I like shoot em up games. I played a lot of them. My fave would have to be Srikers. Pancake yo.

I love the genre, but don't play a whole lot of them. I might go find some tonight and entertain myself.

Yeah, I play 2d shmups a lot. Star Goose is a classic.

 

Also, Raiden III and Comiket shmups FTW.

do you play raiden3 on the pc or ps2?

a lot of people say that the pc version is best!i play it in the ps2,great game!!

PC. Raiden III has no PAL PS2 port.

I wish I knew of more good ones or I would play them more. I usually only play the ones that are really popular or on Saturn/Dreamcast.

 

Not sure if this counts but I wish there where more games like Metal Slug.

Gunforce II is probably the closest to Metal Slug. Same developers after all (formed Nazca under SNK after they left IREM).

Just finished it, it was pretty fun definitely noticed similar art styles/sound effects. Its hard to get used to not having grenades and being able to climb on stuff though.

Any of the Raiden Fighters, and Armed Police Batrider. I can't think of more at the moment.

Cosmic Cop is pretty cool, although the game's ridiculously fast, and hard.
