We only have 4 actual paid/full-time firefighters (including the chief). I was a full-time firefighter with a different department but I hated their guts and stupidity and left. I miss the pay check but that pay check don't mean shit if you're dead. There's rumors floating around that we may get paid $5 a call. That don't seem like much but when you get an average of 300+ fire calls a year, that'll be close to a $1500 check around Christmas time every year. Nailed it! Your point is nulled and voided. HA!
