moncul Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Hi, do you think it would be possible to port aircrack on ds ?do you see general problems ?in details, how each part could be easy or problematic to port ?- aircrack (maybe the need for a big amount of ram ?)- airodump (i think we can set promiscous mode in dswifi ? is it enough to "start" ?)- aireplay (can this be done with dswifi raw packets ?) i don't really know how aircrack runs "internally", maybe some of you have already thought about it ? thanks for your answers, or just thoughts
Mooney Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 IIRC, someone actually did make aircrack for the DS... Meh, Google it.
moncul Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 IIRC, someone actually did make aircrack for the DS... Meh, Google it.i can't find it, can you give the link or homebrew name ?
Mooney Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 FOUND IT! Friggin finally... After a bit of browsing through DS news archives, I found this: AireplayDS Hope that's what you were looking for.
Robert Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 /me downloads it - because i will download anything that might become useful
Enira Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 It doesn't cracks. It rather sends some packages which the AP likes to respond to so another machine which is scanning can work with those packages. (When wireless package traffic is unexistant or rather too low)
moncul Posted June 28, 2007 Author Posted June 28, 2007 i wrote an aircrack port (only cracks a cap file with ptw method). It works (a bit slower than with the PC).more details here or direct link.dldi patch aircrackDS.nds, launch, it will try to fin key from /ptw.cap now i'll try to implement the dump (and play) part, which will be more difficult (i think i'll spend some time here !). I'll start to read the source from ds_wifi_lib_test for the capture part.Anyone has seen source code using rawpacket functions (imight need to use them) ?
Mooney Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Nice release. Posted in the News section (Appears on the front page).
moncul Posted July 8, 2007 Author Posted July 8, 2007 if ptw attack can find it from the cap file you provide, yes.
bobl Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 if ptw attack can find it from the cap file you provide, yes. Please explain what a cap file is.
Sektor Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Please explain what a cap file is. It's a capture (log) of network data, in this case wireless network data. Currently there is no application to capture that data on a DS and even if there was, it would be limited to networks that run at 2mbit. At the moment you need to capture that data on a notebook or PDA and if you were doing that, you might as well run aircrack on the notebook/PDA since it would be faster. Right now, Aircrack DS has no practical use. Edited July 24, 2007 by Sektor

Mooney Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 airplay ds: http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=12...ghlight=airplayIf you would have taken the time to read the posts before this, you would have noticed that the very same link had already been posted. Please read all of the posts in a thread before making one yourself.
