Okay, i'm trying make a video, more like a music video, but i dont want to use already made videos, i want to make my own. All i need is the ability to record whatever is my computer screen, sound and all. Oh,

One problem, dont have a camera!

So is there a way i can do this without the use of a camera?

Yeah, i'm tyring it now...a little rough.

Hmmm... Is there a recorder that is like, made for recording mugen games. I mean, what do those guys who record all those EVE demos use?

Okay, thanks! Now one more question, when i got the file recorded, its all choppy and stuff.

I heard that you have to compress it or something like that in order for it to play smoothe.

I'm not sure because my cpu is pretty crappy it could be the cpu's fault but i was told that i might need a compressor or encoder?

I'm not sure!

Compressing it won't "smooth it". If it's stuttering from the original file, it will be stuttering in the compressed file.

What codec did you use to record in the first place? To save on processing while recording, you should be using something like raw frames, also known as Uncompressed RGB/YCrCb. After that, you can take your file into something like VirtualDub and compress it with a codec like DivX/XviD.

Oh and Glitch, I think Rawrthness' signature is within acceptable limits. It's larger than most, but not huge, and all the images only come to a total of 44kb. Even if you're on dialup, it wouldn't take long to load.

Well, there is a whole lot of blinking and movement... doesn't really bother me, but I know some people like simpler, less animated sigs. :P
