DropDeadEd Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 All current emus cannot run DS commerical games' roms yet.WRONG. You can run A LOT of commercial games with Desmume and Ideas. Not that many. The emulation just isn't up to par right now. I'd suspect it to be very well in a year or two if we're lucky. Right now the sales of flashcards have pretty much stunted the need to emulate the console. Which verily blows.
Shoma Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 WHat's the reason behind the slow emulation of the DS? I'm not rushing for I'm not a DS fan but i was wondering. I mean the graphics are somewhat improved, but is it the whole touch screen affect or the dual screens that are hard to emulate?

Yeh the DS has been around for some good years now, and PCs today have proportionately a f.ckload of power to leverage in emulating it. I always remember the GBA being emulated extremely well early on, and, hardware wise, the DS doesn't seem overly more complicated than that was.

predator1 Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 A few things that had to be said before : - iDeas ins't working on Vista ( I bet you all have XP so this is no problem for you ).- No$GBA runs the pokemon game if you have bios but the game freezes after your 1st battle against the bird pokemon. So I don't know about the iDeas emulator, but the creator of that emu shoul really make it work with Vista so I can try the Pokemon on it and see if it still freezes at that place ...

So even if you could get to the first battle, it wouldn't matter if the game froze.
predator1 Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Hmm a thing I found is : No$GBA runs the game and if you enable the sound you may continue after each battle, but the saving thing on this emulator sucks alot ....... see every time I try to run my saved file it is showing some crapy error ...... if the saving was done any better the game would run really good... ( as I said when I turn on the sound on the emulator the game continues and I didn't got no crash thing after that, just every time I try to load my saved file it fails... and I have to play over and over again ...... )

I believe this has been discussed in numerous threads already.
Agozer Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Any idea how to do that on the No$GBA ?via the No$Gba settings.
predator1 Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Thats what I get when I try to load the saved file..... I've tried all thing on this emulator but it won't work
JStan Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Thats what I get when I try to load the saved file..... I've tried all thing on this emulator but it won't work Save the game in game instead of saving the state of the game, it worked for me (go to the menu, using X, go to save, and then u can save the game)
