What do you use besides WinAmp?

Windows Media Player seems to load slowly...

 

My brother doesn't want me to screw up his play list in Winamp.

 

What do you use to play .mp3s on your PC?

Foobar. Although I still prefer Winamp.

foobar2000 on my laptop, because it's less bloated.

Windows Media Player works as well, but in that case I prefer foobar....

yeah, mplayerc is great; I use that for videos though, not audio alone...

I switched to foobar2000

Winamp is too bloated and had a lot of security issues lately.

I'm just using the latest "official" foobar release though.

 

I tried out a foobar beta but the search for correct plugins was too troublesome.

Foobar2000 is a good choice because it supports all formats out of the box. With Winamp, it just depends what you choose to do with it. It isn't as bloated as people think. Their are various installations for a reason.

it eats memory. kinda. I can use it on my desktop (and I do), but my laptop only has 256mb. In that case, foobar.

 

Winamp has that better working ADX plugin though (called in_cube)

Classic Winamp 2.92 still works if you don't want to get the 5.12 version.
