That's because of.sav file, the GBAMP wasn't made

for a use like this, and I don't think it can handle

save files. Previous versions of ds2key didn't support

save, and it seems that is the cause of the problem.

You'll need for another version of ds2key, or may be

a fixed version (sypherce is working on that).

I have a GBAMPv2 and I've used all the other DS2KEYS have to say freakin' SWEET!!! Anyway so this version seems to load up fine and all but as everyone seems to be saying when you search for an AP you get nothing... Which is infact Wrong totally if you scroll down on the screen and keep going access points actually show up. When you click on one the WEP is [DHCP I] and the TCP/IP: says [ASSOCSTATUS_CANNOTCONN] AS THOUGH IT WOULD IN THE CONNECTION SEQUENCE. sO i FIXED THOSE THINGS (whoops CAPS....)fine to there normal should be settings and if i try to connect without changing and "Number(ip,DNS, blah blah)" settings it says it connects. further testing came to show i can change all the setting Accept the IP address and i could still connect but i could still ONLY connect after the UDP screen the bottom is just black. But when i DO change the IP address from something other then 0.0.0.0 then when i goto connect it just says 0.0.0.0 and scrolls everything off the screen just stays full of 0.0.0.0 over and over wierd huh? thats what i've got so far in the testing i've done any help or fixes or does this help any?

Also in the Wardriving on the new version I do see all wireless connections fine.

Well, like I sad in my post before, it doesn't work

for a GBAMP due to the lack of SRAM, I don't think

that the Replacement FW has anything built in for

save data (correct me if this is false). The newest version of ds2key uses

the data in the save file to connect to an AP.

I don't have a idea where the other errors come

from, but may be I buy me a GBAMP to test it

myself.

Btw. Kayouu, I didn't really get from your post if it

worked for you in the end or not.

No because when I tried any IP for the IP, anything besides 0.0.0.0 would only show that repeated on the screen when I tried to connect with it.

I finally got this thing to work.

The mouse works, but the sensibility is a bit odd.

There should be a way to adjust sensibility...

Great job btw, the app is greatly improving!

what if I could maybe put the correctely moddified sav file on a GBA cart... maybe load with the GBAMP and then put in the normal gba card in that has the sav on it think that might work. just a thought...

I also tried it on a GBAMP and did not get an AP either. I did get it in previous versions, but not this one. I hope you guys can (and will ;)) fix it so I can test it :P.

Just one question, how can the sav file have impact on searching for an AP? As far as I can see it should only contain saved information of a formerly searched (or connected) AP. The searching should just be done like it used to, but please tell me if i'm wrong ;).

And... I tried to edit the sav file manually, but I have no idea how this thing is loaded. Now I noticed the file is exactly 64kb, so I figured that simply means it needs to be exactly 64kb. Now if I would have to figure out what figures do what (I think I know the subnet mask though :P) and what I should change in what to make the file readable. So this would be kind of hoping I guess it right so I did not even try it (well, once :P).

Even if there would be data in the save file,

DS2Key reads from sram, but can't find any so

it won't get anything (if it doesn't crash).

You have to wait for sypherce to implement

GBAMP support.

Why does no one else get any AP when they search with the GBAMP... I do on mine but like I said at first it seems that I get none but I keep scrolling down and there at the bottom why does this only happen for meare you other GBAMP users advanced or beginners on homebrew stuff....

That still shouldn't affect the search for APs.

That depends on what you call advanced. I do test about all the homebrew things I can get my hands on. I just don't write any, but I think I will :shootem:. Now I did follow your instructions of keeping to scroll but I do not see anything. Now if I try an older version I do see something. Adding to that, even if you have to scroll down this would be a bug, which would need to be solved.
