  1. when using a dongle (wifimax in my case) where do i have to put which information? DS IP : some ip i put in here subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 gateway: what do i have to put in here ? primary dns: computers IP (which one? the ip for my fritz web dsl card ? or the ip from my wlan ?) secondary dns: the ip from my dsl card with inet access? sorry i am a noob at this and i am a bit confused. thx 4 help <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Use this: - DS IP: Your wlan IP, but change the number after the last dot into something different. - Gateway Address: Same as DS IP - DNS Address: Same as DS IP - Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.000 - Server IP: Your wlan IP Now I dont see secondary dns anywhere. Are you using v0.4?
  2. Hmm, it doesn't seem to work for me. it just keeps displaying "searching". My DS seems to be connected to my pc though, because its mac address is associated. I even double (well actually more then twice) checked port, ip etc. Some additional info: - I use GBAMP - I do not use a WEP key - Other programs like the wifi test prog from stgair and WIN2DS work fine. So any idea what is going (or what I am doing) wrong?
  3. The new design looks nice, except for the background. Why did you choose a background with such a high contrast between the colors? It makes is hard to read the read the text. So I would say a less interfering image. But thats all. I like the buttons .
  4. Nice! Just ignore the media when there saying something you dont want to hear . Its not like the media didn't speak homebrew before (I even read in the newspaper that darkfaders trojan, if I can call it that, was a hentai viewer and that was a well respected dutch newspaper...)
  5. I don't know about the sound streaming. Isn't ds2key a program that we use as a gamepad for your pc (or just as a remote control). Not that I don't like the idea but I think that should just be a different app. Auto reconnect sounds cool and shutting down the pc as well. I don't see the use for shutting down your DS with your PC. Just my opinion!
  6. I could test with my GBAMP as well, so if you need any pm me. But suggestions, suggestions... Maybe some way people can make extensions for games. Kind of making your own Interface (with an image or something) and attach a key command to it, so when I press it it would send this key command to my pc. So If would for example play Counterstrike (not much of a cs player, but I think everyone knows the game ) I could use my touch screen to buy my own weapon kits with just a press of a, ehm, screen . Just an idea, sounds like a lot of work too, but its an idea .
  7. That depends on what you call advanced. I do test about all the homebrew things I can get my hands on. I just don't write any, but I think I will . Now I did follow your instructions of keeping to scroll but I do not see anything. Now if I try an older version I do see something. Adding to that, even if you have to scroll down this would be a bug, which would need to be solved.
  8. Why would you sue a homebrewer, that wouldn't be very interesting. Anyway. I tested the app, and this one made me even happier then the first version I tried . And for now I only have 2 bugs to report: - The zoomed in view mouse control does not work well. When setting your screen to the upper left corner you will be able to get your mouse in the upper left corner as well. But if you move down to the lower right you can see the mouse moving way 'further' them supposed to. Hope this helps . - Some of my DS commands are ignored and I have to press a key twice or touch the screen twice. Now this could be because of the cpu usage some others talked about. If its not, try to make user input priority #1. Well, hope this all helps you with your great app!
  9. I also tried it on a GBAMP and did not get an AP either. I did get it in previous versions, but not this one. I hope you guys can (and will ) fix it so I can test it . Just one question, how can the sav file have impact on searching for an AP? As far as I can see it should only contain saved information of a formerly searched (or connected) AP. The searching should just be done like it used to, but please tell me if i'm wrong . And... I tried to edit the sav file manually, but I have no idea how this thing is loaded. Now I noticed the file is exactly 64kb, so I figured that simply means it needs to be exactly 64kb. Now if I would have to figure out what figures do what (I think I know the subnet mask though ) and what I should change in what to make the file readable. So this would be kind of hoping I guess it right so I did not even try it (well, once ).
  10. Well I got to say this is pretty cool . Though everyone is quite right. The keyboard is really really bad. So I think that you (or someone else ) should figure a way so we can actually have a good keyboard for a change. Maybe make users calibrate just once and use that data, or that at least for a temporary solution . Anyway, I also got some suggestions and questions. Suggestions: - Intergrate some tools that allow you to do certain things faster. Like for example a textarea where you can insert text into (client side on your DS) and then a 'submit' button that sends everything straight to your PC. - Make the zoomed screen and the 'minimap' screen switchable. This way you add touch-screen control to both screens. - A way to configure controls, so you can tell what every DS button does. This way you can also use your DS as a controller, which can be useful from time to time. - Maybe a zoom out thing for the zoomed screen. (Low priority ) Questions: Is the data send as low as it can be? I mean, are you only sending the parts you see. Are these images compressed (or would the decompressing be to tough for the DS) and do they have the max amount of colors the DS can handle? This is just because I am interested at how this is done and could be done as efficient as possible . [Ă‹DIT] Oke, I saw it saves jpg files of both screens and sends them. Further comression does not seem verry usefull either so skip the question [/EDIT]
