It's been out for a while and I held it in my hand today at the stores, comptemplation whether or not to buy it. I bought something else, but RE4 is still in my To Get list.

What game did you buy instead? RE 4 is also one of top 5 of the year. I have yet to play the PS2 version seeing as how I bought the GC one when it came out but RE 4 is such a good game that it may deserve a double dip.

I wish I hadn't bought the GameCube version of this game. I want the extras that the PS2 version has, but I don't want to buy the same game. :-)

in gfx yes it is but in features/extras, ps2 version bests it by far :(

I'm still loving this.......those features are present in the Gamecube version as well, they just require you to unlock them. The only thing the PS2 got was Ada's "Seperate Ways" missions, so "Beats it by far" is one hell of a stretch.

Hardly worth paying the money for if you've played the Cube version, seeing as it's superior in every other aspect.

If you don't own a Cube though, or haven't played the Cube version......go for it. I however wouldn't even waste a disc on a pirated copy of this when I have the Gamecube version.

From what I've been hearing there's a lot more to the PS2 version than just Ada's own adventure, but since I've just scratched the surface, I wouldn't know about the rest
