Inky Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Courtesy of WWE.com... The Juniors Are Coming!Oct. 15, 2005 In an unprecedented collaboration, network executive Palmer Canon and SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announced today the introduction of a new WWE wrestling division exclusive to Friday Night SmackDown: The Juniors. The Juniors Division will be comprised of world-class athletes at or below 5 feet tall. “Midgets, dwarves, the little people; they’re all welcome,” said Long. “We don’t discriminate against anybody on my show, as long as they can bring it.” “The network believes there’s big ratings and big excitement in the new Juniors Division," Canon added. "I think fans will be shocked at what these tiny, but very talented, competitors can add to the already incredibly gifted roster here on Friday Night SmackDown.” this is sad and funny at the same time. smackdown is doing so bad that they need midgets to boost ratings. if they'd just let the cruisers do thier thing they wouldn't need to hire a bunch of midgets.
solidius23 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 we are in agreement on this one garageink.
Wizard Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssss looooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww. I wish they weren't so picky and start doing some stuff like...Ok, nothing can be done. I'll just stick to watching TNA.
Weirdy Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I wonder if Bridget the Midget will be anyone's manager
solidius23 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 TNA is quickly gaining on WWE in my wrestling preference to watch. and if rumors and ratings keep up Spike is gonna give TNA a monday night slot.
Weirdy Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 TNA is the organization that Jeff Jarret is in right? I seen it once at school; it wasn't quite back actually
Wizard Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Jeff and his father run it initially. THey lose all rights to the NWA titles sometime in 2008 I think. There are alot of young talent in TNA. Espeically in the X-Division, lots of good stuff has come from that, like how it was the Lucha and crusierweight styles of the mid-90's in ECW and in WCW.
L.S.D Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 WTF?!? They have a roster of young, capable Cruiserweights wrestlers and they didn't make full use of them (except for Rey Rey, most are obsucre) ?!?
Inky Posted October 17, 2005 Author Posted October 17, 2005 I predict they will push the mifgets for a few weeks, see no one cares, and start feeding them to JBL for midget squash matches
L.S.D Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 They can't.His Clothlines From Hell will miss :D
Inky Posted October 17, 2005 Author Posted October 17, 2005 the gimmick will be he can beet them on his knees
Weirdy Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 who memmer Summerslam '94 or '95 where it was Doink The Clown & his midgets (dink, wink, and pink) vs. Jerry the King Lawler and his midgets? that was funny
iamjack Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I'm gonna try to prognosticate as best as I can here, but jesus, this is out there. The only potential high point I see in this is that Raw would have to counterbalance by adding a new title of their own, possibly reintroducing the hardcore championship.
