No rain, no winds, everything is fine, wonder why that is o.0. Besides that all the torment so far has been in southern citys of mines and key west which is still in the hole :thumbsup1:.

Although I agree with you, you should never take anything people say here seriously. Not because they are attempting to be funny, but because most of them are stupid.

Yeah I thought someone might take it like that, but the thing is I'm not getting rightously indignant, I'm telegraphing the fact that that kind of intellectual cowardice is self-defeating and is nobody's problem but thier own. I just think I owe a cirtain degree of ernest to this board.

Well said. Still, despite my comments I don't really find the situation that hilarious. Practically we don't have any kind of natural oddities over here, so I'm subconsciously wishing that something would happen.

What does that mean?

I mean that I wish that something would happen over here. Whether it would be a flood, a hurricane, an explosion, gay pride... just something.

I hope it randomly kills Jack Thompson.

:punk: yeah

but for that statement he'd probably you were video game-motivated for saying that :banghead:

I'm still waiting for him to blame Sim City for hurricanes and any other forces of nature.

In Sim City you could invoke different natural disasters to destroy your city. It was awesome.

Holy crap! It's already a category 5! They were expecting it to be a category 4 by the time it hit Texas.

That really sucks.

And LOL at the Sim City pic.

HURRICANE RITA TROPICAL CYCLONE UPDATE

NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL

650 PM CDT WED SEP 21 2005

...RITA BECOMES THE THIRD MOST INTENSE HURRICANE ON RECORD...

DROPSONDE DATA FROM AN AIR FORCE RESERVE UNIT RECONNAISSANCE

AIRCRAFT AT 623 PM CDT...2323Z...INDICATED THE CENTRAL PRESSURE HAS

FALLEN TO BELOW 899 MB...OR 26.55 INCHES. THE DROPSONDE INSTRUMENT

MEASURED 32 KT/35 MPH WINDS AT THE SURFACE...WHICH MEANS IT LIKELY

DID NOT RECORD THE LOWEST PRESSURE IN THE EYE OF RITA. THE CENTRAL

PRESSURE IS PROBABLY AT LEAST AS LOW AS 898 MB...AND PERHAPS EVEN

LOWER. FOR OFFICIAL PURPOSES... A PRESSURE OF 898 MB IS ASSUMED...

WHICH NOW MAKES RITA THE THIRD MOST INTENSE HURRICANE IN TERMS OF

PRESSURE IN THE ATLANTIC BASIN. SOME ADDITIONAL DEEPENING AND

INTENSIFICATION IS POSSIBLE FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS OR SO.

RITA CURRENTLY RANKS BEHIND HURRICANE GILBERT IN 1988 WITH 888 MB

AND THE 1935 LABOR DAY HURRICANE WITH 892 MB.

FORECASTER STEWART

Well this totally sucks.
