Because some people think that ROMs == games, which isn't so. It's just a terms that most people erroreously (is that even a word?) use when talking about emulated games.

@Darken: It doesn't basically matter which one you use, but it's still technically wrong to use 'ROM'.

No, it doesn't matter. That's why I used the smiley to indicate I was just pulling his leg. Of course, some people are far too stupid to see that. And Marvel vs. Capcom 2 currently can only be emulated in Chankast so to play that you need an ISO because it is a rip of the GD-ROM. However, if and when NAOMI is emulated, then it will require a ROM since you will require a dump of the ROM board. There, that's settled.
