my CPU temperate is at 120F, I was wondering if it's a good idea to install another fan ?

my chip is AMD 64 btw...

I just like everything cooled at the best level.

If you think that you had enough budget for installing the fan, then go for it. For me, I would like to buy a fan for my PC as the CPU temp keeps over 60C but still in broke. :D

Btw, 120F = ?C. :D

Bad in calculating a formula.... :P

120F = 48.9C

Best to cool at 95F/35C

I got home made heatsinks and 4 fans to say my comp is roughly at 35/32C. Also with the combining tempurature of my room also adds to it.

Ok...most CPUs can go all the way up to 60 C and nothing will happen. I used to be a real cooling freak but it just really doesn't matter that much. I have to clean my CPU heatsink fins because it has so much dust on it that it's hindering heat dissipation.
