if i were her, and assuming for the question i am able to make my own choices....id request for death bc i wouldnt be able to handle such living conditions. people staring, envy to be normal...i wouldnt be able to survive emotionally and mentally...

Yeah, that must be the hardest part of it all. It isn't enough that your family loves you; if you don't get positive feedback from the world around you, things get sour.

 

Then again, even if other people support you, you still realize that you aren't like the rest, and that creates lots of emotional problems.

Actually people with disorders such as this are some of the most emotionally stable people since they have no trace of vanity. They know they are afflicted and do whatever they can to improve themselves. I guess that's the kind of reaction you'd get from looking at this syndrome from the outside and not from the inside.

Maybe I failed to say it right, since I wholeheartedly agree with you. But still, some of my friends who aren't "normal" per se, feel quite angry at the world around them. Sure, they shouldn't be; but they feel that they should blame somebody for their condition, but can't...
