It does sound exactly like lots of other bands, and I've never heard of this one. Still, it is easy to listen to, no problem with that. I'd be happy to let it play while doing some work or whatever.

You mean kinst2.chd? Put it into it's own kinst2 folder. Oh, you're using mame32k which is incredibly ancient. The chd was different then, you may have a hard time finding the right version.

roms --- kinst.zip roms --- kinst --- kinst.chd In other words, make a folder called "kinst" from in your roms folder. Then put the chd into the new folder.

Back on topic, I know we like to bash Vista (I do too), but those options and restore point stuff is in XP as well. The only difference is that the 2nd screenshot allows you to remove unneeded Windows components as well. I immediately removed the useless Outlook Express. Useless, because that computer isn't connected to the net.
