Yup, but at least you can throw the first MK in there from the collector's disk that didn't make the cut, but as you see should have.

I split them up because I don't want 3 gigs worth of stuff from a compilation that only has 400 megs of stuff that I'd play. I also don't need those options, you still get a menu with a few options when you press start in the game. The difficulty slider isn't an issue with me either. Well, guess 1 person wants to know. In the root folder all you're going to need is 2 folders, Classic and Media. No matter what game you're trying to seperate, you'll need the following files in the Classic folder-hdr.sr, mat2.sr, mr2_3.sr, and the.sr file of the game you are trying to play(if it's primal rage, you'll need the prage.sr). Keep the Media folder exactly the way it was on the disc. The files you'll need in the root folder are mcr2_3.xbe, mcr68k.xbe, and the.xbe of the game you want to seperate(so if it's primal rage, you'd need the prage.xbe). Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3, Narc, Rampage, and Total Carnage all use the jarvos.xbe to load seperate menu for you to pick which game you want. Just pick the one coresponding to the game you seperated. Then once you're done, you just need to rename the.xbe to default.xbe and change the title to reflect the game you seperated.

I looked everywhere trying to see if somebody else knew how to do it, but I never found a working solution. Well, I did it myself and it's pretty easy. I practically know nothing compared to the likes of those that frequent this forum so for once I'd like to share if you're interested. If this isn't needed by anyone, just don't reply. Otherwise if anybody wants to know I'd be happy to tell ya. BTW, anybody know what that "RIP" smiley under my avatar means? What did I doooo?

I've had that since it came out That's an idea Prican, but it's a different game than the arcade version. I think it was out around the time Hammerin' Harry was at the arcade. I haven't played it since then and that's why I REALLY want to play it again. It was a really good game.

Nevermind on Spiderman, I solved that one in a few clicks and spideyus.zip.

2 roms I'd love to play on Xbox just won't work in any version of MameOX, I was just wondering if anybody got Spiderman or DJ Boy running ok on Xbox. I've got all the mame arcade bios in the roms folder, but it still says Spidey.zip is missing 2 files and won't run(files are 1403 & 1402). DJ Boy just gives you a screen meant for acid trippers and won't start up. Has anybody had any luck with these 2 games in MameOX on Xbox?

Man, I tried that. My roms check out and they still don't work. ROTD.zip won't get past the hardware check screen, ROTDn.zip has static for sound, Kof2k3.zip shows messed up graphics and when you press start after adding a credit it resets the rom. Both Rage of the Dragons roms listed in the dat FBAXXX 11/02 provieds don't have CRC's listed for the files in the zips, so that's a little frustrating as well. Pleaaaase, help me if anyone has these games working. It's completely out of my hands at this point. Reply would be good, PM would be even better.

I don't want the roms or links, I want a screenshot of yours if you got those games working in FBAXXX 11/02. Check my post history first please, I've never requested a rom or broken the rules, just post a screenshot of the files if you got those games working without any problems.

Can someone post working sets of Kof2k3.zip, ROTD.zip, and ROTDN.zip for the latest FBAXXX? I've tried but those 2 games I just can't seem to get working. I can't find the latest kof2003 full dump and my ROTD's run but they put out static for sound.

I found out the hard way that I'd have to recompile my FBAXXX8-02 just to play this game since there is no patch available. I have everything, I just don't want to go through 4 hours of screwing around just to play this game. Since I'm a noob to all this stuff and can't seem to do anything without recompiling the xbe's of my emulators.......on behalf of all the other other noobs.....I give up.

I wasn't sure if it depended on the emulator build, what emulator, ect. You said it ran perfectly, I don't care if you were wrong or not I just want to play the game.

I thought it played flawlessly like the first post stated? Anyway, I have the old FBAXXX 8.2.2004 build but I have never used it(I still prefer Ghost's FBAx). Can anybody PM me on how to enable the latest games in that build? I kinda remember I have to change some figure in a config file from 0 to 1 or vice versa.

Unleash is the best one. If anybody has this dashboard and likes kung-fu movies, I made a FMV skin of Hero with Jet Li and Donnie Yen(they both trained under the same master) fighting at www.allxboxskins.com. Every time you go back to the Unleash or start something from Unleash you get a nice short fight scene from the movie and it's very good quailty video too. The candles flikker too on the main screen. Promote....

Has anybody tried getting installing the files from the Hurricane pack and then getting a game save of someone playing the Hurricane pack and resign it with xbox resigner program from the forums on www.xbox-saves.com? That might work.

That's okay, I managed to do a few things and connected to xbins last night. I did manage to play those games and they both chugged badly. I forgot who PM'd me, but thanks anyway. Asura Blade didn't work well either(daaarn).

Well....., my DSL connection has gone real funny lately and I can't use irc or connect to torrents. To make a long story short, I was wondering if someone would kindly send me the new MameOX.84b2 because at this point it's almost impossible to obtain and I'd like to try it out as soon as possible. It's gotten so bad that I had to type this on Xbox once(until I accidentally hit the b button twice and cleared the whole thing in linksbox). If you have a link or can host the file, that would work well too. Pleeeeeease help me, I gotta try Strider 2 and Streetfighter 1 ASAP. Anybody heard anything, it's been out in Japan and it's the last Neo Geo release so I can pretty much assume that we all want it seeing how SS5 turned out.

I've got DVD2XBOX already on there and I have plenty of space, I just want to know where would I store the games on the drive and how would I access them through DVD2XBOX withou copying them to the harddrive through that application due to the softmod.

Real Xbox games

I want to save my games to my hardrive(soft mod), but I want to know how would I go about using them? What program should I use and where should I upload the game files on the xbox(ftp) once I have the program? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the file Prican, but I've decided not to go with FBA-xxx alltogether. I use it for some things like Battle Garrega and Ghostlop, but the loading for some stuff is just ridiculously long(Garou-Mark of the Wolves comes to mind). I enjoy FBA-Ghost a whole lot more. It may not have all those little additional features but IMO it doesn't need them. Some stuff still needs to be fixed anyway it seems before the latest release is stable. Regarless, it's a nice addition.

Another thing, can anybody link me to a trustworthy site that will mod your xbox for you? If I can't fix it, it looks like I'll have to mod the thing anyway. Nevermind, I just fixed it.......*whew!* If anyone comes across this problem, simply copy the mechassault linux file to a memory card from your xbox harddrive, erase all your mechassault data from your xbox, copy the mechassault file you just copied back to the xbox from the memory card, and it will run like normal again.

I softmodded my Xbox and just a minute ago a decided to play Mechassault online for the first time. Well it autoupdated my game and now I can't run the evolution dashboard. Can anybody tell me how to fix this!?
