  1. Hi Fu, Are you still giving links to these 2 hdf files? If so, could you send them to me please? I came to this thread late, but would love to try them. Cheers. Simmo.
  2. Thanks for these dam-soft. I downloaded them over the weekend and they work just great.
  3. Could I possibly get a link to these please? I'll attempt to DL over the weekend... Cheers!
  4. Thanks to the posts from run088 and DOA, I've now managed to get Coinops Reignite R5 working properly - cheers guys! D.O.A. you asked for suggestions for Coinops Reignite R6? How about adding a new 'sort' method, so that as well as being able to sort by name, genre, no of players etc, we could search by system? ie Arcade, SNES, Megadrive/Genesis and whatever other systems you see fit to add? Just a thought.
  5. Thanks for replying! I'll try renaming the MD & SNES Roms then... But as for Turbo Outrun and Super Monaco, shouldn't they give an error message (wrong or incomplete zip, Out of Memory etc etc) instead of quitting the program?
  6. Hi, I wonder if anyone here would be kind enough to help me? I've installed Coinops Reignite R5 - MANY thanks to all involved with this great work - but am having a couple of problems. Firstly, if I try to run Turbo Outrun or Super Monaco GP, I get a black screen, the HD whirs a little and then Coinops kicks me out to my EvoX boot menu. I'm pretty sure the ROMs are ok as they work great on Final Burn Legends. Secondly, I can't get Megadrive/Genesis or SNES ROMs to show up on the Coinops ROM menu. I edited the ini file in the E:/TDATA directory to look for MAME ROMs and the one inside the Coinops directory to point to where my MD and SNES ROMs are... Is this wrong? Do they have to be named a certain way? Any help that anyone can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Kung Fu Master, wow, your as old as i am ! 10p a go. Those were the days my friend. Although, 10p then, constituted a reasonalble sum. Its about 3million quid in todays money. lol Hey! Don't go telling all the trendy young things on here how old I am! (Although the '76' bit in my Login might give people a clue!) If I'd saved my pennies then, instead of 'wasting them on those machines' as my mum used to put it, I'd quite possibly be 'normal' now and have a bit of money! Although, I suspect not as the missus would probably take it off me instead! Anyway, to keep this thread at least a little on-topic, I've thought of some more: Moon Patrol - Ace on Xbox when played with an arcead stick. Track & Field - A total pad destroyer and I STILL can't do the high jump... Punch-Out! Space Harrier and Super Hang On - both emulated perfectly, but somehow not as exciting without the hydraulic cabs.
  8. I absolutely LOVED Kung Fu Master as a kid on holiday in the 80's! They had it in a fantastic arcade place in St. Ives, Cornwall and I used to pump far too many 10p pieces - yeah, THOSE were the days!!! - into this thing and never getting much farther than the beginning of level 2... When I first had my Xbox chipped (about 5 years ago now), that game was the first thing I loaded up on good old MAMEX and it was still just as ace as I remember! Other fantastic (IMHO) notable Xbox emulatees that I previously enjoyed in that same arcade (in no particular order): Final Fight (different holiday, same place, though I was a bit older by this one) Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Jr Marble Madness Discs of Tron Galaga Aaaah, Happy Days!
  9. Don't know if this helps you or not - but I have a usb keyboard and (optical) mouse for my good old Xbox and when I bought it I was advised by a much more computer literate friend to buy the cheapest one of each, as these DON'T require extra drivers etc (I think he was refering to PC here) and thus making them compatible with Xbox... I subsequently followed this advice and bought a Trust branded mouse (from Wilkinsons) for about £5 and an ASDA smartprice keyboard for about £8, and both work perfectly. Hope this might be of some use to you?
  10. Hi Xbuser (and everyone else) I had the EXACT same problem that you describe, and for a little while I was convinced that Final Burn didn't work... However, it's coded by the AWESOME NES6502 (thanks SOOOOO much for ZSnex NES!!!), so OF COURSE it works. Here is how I fixed the problem and hopefully it might work for you too Xbuser. Firstly, as has already correctly been suggested by fumanchu, make sure you have the right ROMs, but equally importantly, be careful HOW you transfer them onto your Xbox. When I FTP'ed them to my Xbox, for some reason, all the directories and ROM names were changed into CAPITAL letters. As soon as I deleted these, and re-transferred using XBMC (samba) the directories and ROMs were all back in lower case and.... Hey Presto!!! IT WORKS!!! :D Hopefully this might work for you too Xbuser? One quick question for anyone who might know - are there any analog settings for Final Burn, as analogue steering on Turbo Outrun, Power Drift etc etc would be SOOO cool. Cheers!
