this wasn’t the first time it was closed down. If I recall I think big old MS and Nintendo had a hand in shuting them down last time, but they came back a few months later. If you want imports there plenty of places playasia for one or if your in a city in the US, check out your local Chinatown or anime shop. What I do want more of if anything else on the psp is more 2 ½ d games. I had a chance to check out the megamans and ghost and globlins and was very impressed. I hope that they make a castleviana for the psp some time. it would just look sweet on the psp. Best argument in a while. I can't stand all those Sony hateism spreading around. I myself don't find problems with Sony products. I own a slew of Sony products and I find that they are really better than most products. Example: my Sony DVD player can play some scratched DVDs which other brand can't (don't ask me why, it just did). The only Sony thing that I have that broke easily is my old Walkman. And the PS2 controllers (which last even longer than my DC controller). I work in a SOny factory before so I do know how stringent their quality control is. But it seems that recent times, their quality dropped as they tried to rush out new models.

Heh, I would agreed with some of the arguments here but every cloud has a silver lining. iq_132, are you sure load time is a problem? I have not heard of a four minutes load times. And the longest load time ever is the WWE SVR2006, with load time of 2 minutes. Tekken's loading is not even 30s. Most games not do not load long. The initial release does contain lots of loading but as the developers know more about PSP, a lot of the games have reduced load times. Of course, some developers still never learn (UBISOFT, EA) Don't know about you guys but I have been enjoying a lot of PSP games (and NO ISOs!). For RPG, been playing Valkyrie Profile and Monster Hunter Freedom. For fighting game, Tekken and SFA3Max. Platformer, Megaman Powered Up. 3D action, Syphon Filter and LCS. Others, DJ Max portable. One could only have so much times in their life and I think my current library suit me just fine. I want to play some long winded games, I'll play Monster Hunter or Valkyrie profile. Want some short exciting games (10 -20 min), I'll play Tekken or DJ Max or maybe some LCS for some killing spree. Those that keep on harping there are not enough games, go get a life (or work).

Play Asia has taken the safe step by not shipping to EU. Play Asia only cater to Asia and US market. actually, I prefer PA over Lik Sang. I always think that LS site is not so user friendly and they are not so customer friendly. PA is very customer oriented, always ready to answer your questions and request. I even have a request to split my shipment and they do it for free!

It is because of the general impression that: DS = original, creative games PSP = port of console games People's expectation is PSP games should be just like the console conunterparts. So when they start to get craps that was different from the console, they make noise, saying the games are not good and such and saying PSP is worthless. What they never get is PSP is NOT a PS2 on the go! It is not supposed to emulate a PS2 completely. Some companies recognised that and they give us good game, with engine built up from zero (GTA, Tekken, Lumines or any latest Capcom games) unlike some developers who just port their games to PSP and expect it to work (EA games, Splinter Cell, POP, King Kong). As for DS, no qualms. I do think their games are original but they also have lots of craps. Just like GB where we will find 1 or two good games out of the 1000 worthless games.
