  1. Final Fantasy: www.ffonline.com Final Fight: http://finalfight.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ Streets of Rage: http://soronline.classicgaming.gamespy.com/
  2. Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, X-Men, and Shining Force are among my top tier Mega Drive games.
  3. I'm an avid fan of 1980's New Wave, so... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMWXyEHoN88 A-Ha's Take On Me. IMO, A1's and Jonas Bros. versions are horrible crap.
  4. Ever since I saw the Marvel VS. DC trading cards way back, the Marvel VS. Capcom games, and now the Mortal Kombat VS. DC universe, it is interesting to note that many characters seem to resemble another character from a different world or franchise. Pick two characters from different worlds and explain how they very much resemble each other: much started by the Ryu VS Kyo, Ryu VS Cyclops. The crossovers maybe from comics or video games as long as both characters are from different "companies". To start with: GILL (Street Fighter III / Capcom) Versus IGNIZ (KoF 2001 / SNK) Explanation: It's simply because both bosses have the Messiah complex and they think of themselves as divine. In addition, both are heads of their respective secret organizations: Gill is the head of the Illuminati, Igniz is the CEO of NESTS cartel. *** REMY (Street Fighter III / Capcom) Versus ASH CRIMSON (KoF 2003 / SNK) Explanation: Both are French (as depicted by their move names). Both are charge-type characters and their special moves are mighty similar to Guile's: projectile, slashing somersault kick. They are also aloof and the silent type with hidden motives. *** There. I would like to hear your own crossovers. Enjoy.
  5. Hi. Does anyone know of a program that can separate sprite layers for games in the CPS3 emulator that is used to create character snapshots for spritesheets? As far as I know, the CPS3 emulator only has a capture screen key and no shots factory like Kawaks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Hello guys! As promised, STREET FIGHTER III Third Strike is now opened. As for a few trivias... Alex VS. Hugo intro at 1:40 References for Hugo's drunken pose and Octoberfest background If Chun-Li's SFIII 3rd Strike win quote "I am a fighter, not a news reporter!" refers to the SF live-action movie; her win quote "I haven't thrown any of my bracelets..." refers to the SF The Movie arcade game where throwing her bracelets is one of her new moves. There, SF the Movie legacy. Sweet. Up next, a BEU update + a random fighting shrine to open. Anyway, a Happy Halloween to you all! Later.
  7. Hi guys, I had just updated the shrines Battle Circuit and both SFIII New Generation and Giant Attack. Up next: 3rd Strike, to complete the SFIII trilogy. I also forgot to mention that I'll also add SVC: SNK vs Capcom Chaos into the list of the planned fighting shrines in the future. Later.
  8. Hello guys! Thanks a bunch for another 1000+ visits to the site. Street Fighter III 2nd Impact Giant Attack has been made available in the shrine. Though Second Impact is more like an update/sequel to New Generation, it has a features and other moves caused my delay to make a quick update. I hope you'll enjoy it. The Rivals and Final Bosses have been mostly checked, so I deem the majority of it (80-90%, if not all) correct. Corrections are quite welcome. By the way, as a heads-up, I'll be busy for few correction updates to New Generation as well as 3rd Strike as the next shrine to open so as to complete the SFIII trilogy. Afterwards, I'll be on these fighting shrines in no particular order: Red Earth, SFEX2, SFEX2 Plus, and Gem Fighter. To complete the CPS3 titles, I'll have the 2 Jojo's games in the nigh future; we already have a third of the 6 CPS3 titles down. Random BEU updates will be uploaded time by time. Have a nice day. XD
  9. Right-o. Sorry for the slight delay, I've been a tad busy preparing snapshots for the next shrines. XD As of the first of the promised new shrine: it has an American wrestler seeking to avenge "Jean Reno", an irate shoto apprentice, an African princess, a one-armed hermit, a cybernetic freak, a British boxer, a high school ninja, and the kung-fu twins. Knowing the other two spoils the clues, so there you go (I hope you now know where to go). Enjoy the shrine and stay tuned for the others.
  10. Yo to the people. I have uploaded a few tweaks for the Street Fighter 2 shrine. See for youself of the newbies there. As a major spoiler heads-up, I'll be focusing on maybe 2 or 3 CPS-3 games for a while, so you guys will have an idea of what games to look forward to. XD Stay tuned.
  11. I would really appreciate the help, Belthazar. Thanks a lot in advance. I'm quite more of a Doctrine Dark user. I'm a bit disappointed since he lost that katar uppercut special move since EX2, but I found the replacing Kill Wire much more awesome when combined by the Explosive once the enemy is pulled to the ground. BOOM. I love it. Those Super Canceling is quite a nice addition to the SF mechanics. I just hate the extreme damage capability of bosses like Akuma, Bison and Garuda. Rock on.
  12. Hi guys! I had updated the Armored Warriors shrine, as well as updates to the boss pages of AvP, Captain Commando, Forgotten Worlds, and Quiz & Dragons. A fighting shrine up next. Stay tuned.
  13. Gee, I was a tad overwhelmed by the fans of this shooting game requesting for this shrine. Thanks to you, I've been quite addicted to it once again for a while whilst doing the shrine. Anyway, let the unknown soldier lead you to that shrine. Characters: nah, not too much. Sprites here and there. Enemies: I hope this is mostly complete. I did not include projectiles shot by enemies unless they spawn into newer enemies. duh. XD Items: Complete list of shop-related weapons and added descriptions of my own. I dunno as of the life-restoring and point items if complete, though the currency denominations are complete, IMO. Stages & Bosses: This game is famed for its multiscreen scrolling GARGANTUAN bosses. A short semi-detailed strategy guide for each stage, snapshots as well as complete shop lists and boss sprites. As an Easter Egg: Hover your mouse over images on this page and click on anything clickable. You may never know what I hid in this page. Since it's a looooong page, links are available at the top of the screen for easy jumping. I do hope you enjoy the new shrine. Till then. XD
  14. As for the promised slight updates, I added the team plots for Rival Schools. Also added a preview shrine. This shrine is located directly above Rival Schools in the navigator. XD Till next shrine opening!
  15. Hullo. New shrine has been opened. 3 clues... 1. Involves a soldier-turned-psycho killer with wide blue eyes, a fighting aristocrat, a boxing bouncer, an Indian wrestler, an Arabian princess, a female martial artist in search of her brother, an American seeking a rematch on another American, a skeleton-costumed vigilante, and an ominous demon projecting blades all over his body. 2. Doesn't it feel great to send your opponent spinning and flying several meters away while meteors fall on the background? 3. Still haven't guessed? Eh, it's in the Street Fighter page. That's it. Hope you'll like it. Some minor updates up next.
  16. Hiya. Granting one request among other requested fighting shrines, the newly opened shrine involves schools, hotheaded Japanese and American warfreaks, a fan-favorite batter, a stereotype cheerleader, bigfisted teacher, a hot middle-aged nurse, a massive principal with talons, and a sword-wielding megalomaniac seeking countrywide domination of Japan. There you have it. Now, I'm off to bed. Enjoy the shrine. XD
  17. Hello guys. A few new updates to the shrine, since I have around a week off after we shortly went to Canada. To summarize... *** New intro page. I hope the new image has loaded already. Capcom is nearing 3 decades, and I also pay silent homage to the 30+ years of the Super Sentai series (note the colors of the Zhongs and Andores: red, green, blue, yellow, pink; then red, black, blue, yellow, and pink. See? ) *** Revised site pages, especially the history pages. Individual pages for each genre. I'm sure the lists are not complete esp. the shooting (got most CPS1 games first), platformers, and puzzles. I dunno about the fighting shrines. Yeah, I'l feature those listed games on the site in due time. *** Anyway, I also have opened the Super Puzzle Fighter shrine. Pardon the intro image I edited from the victory screens. I remembered the artwork in the EGM issue I had from awhile back that featured that formation and I guess it would be nice trying to make an edit. Black Tiger preview is also opened. Thats all for now. Next in line are some fighting shrines that a few people requested, along with the usual reformatting of BEUs and platformer shrines. Maybe a few more surprise shrines. XD
  18. Hi! The Captain Commando shrine has been updated, from character bios, a few more enemy captures, more food and bonus point items, and a redesigned Boss page like I did with Alien vs Predator. I hope you like it. Stay tuned. XD A big update coming very soon!
  19. Hello guys, I had just reupdated the Ghouls N Ghosts Shrine. Enjoy. HOME : Slight update. CHARACTERS: Recapped sprites and added a few descriptions. ENEMIES: Added a few more. Tentatively complete. ITEMS: Added descriptions of normal and magical properties with weapon icons and other special item descriptions. BOSSES: Well, each stage's points of interest aka the start points and checkpoints are all that matters, so as to give some background about the locations on where Arthur will respawn upon death. Recapped boss sprites also. More updates coming up. Roger and out.
  20. Hello guys! Slam Masters shrine is reupdated for a new look, as well as pulling off a snapshot of Neck Wrecker and Titan Breaker. Move shots are 100% correct. Ring of Destruction shrine is now also open. I did not list all possible moves for each wrestler since the emphasis of the game are the special moves. All move shots are also 100% correct. Both Slam Masters games are in the new CWA Crash Carnival link. Enjoy!
  21. Minor update guys! I had the images of AvP credited from another website. So I decided to give it my own shot of captures and tweak the site a little bit so as to make it more presentable other than a black background. I'm quite happy with the result. I am also busy doing captures of other games so as to prepare in creating the new upcoming shrines, as well as recapping some of the old BEUs and platformers. Stay tuned! Arriverderci. Again, ALIEN VERSUS PREDATOR has been updated. Hope you like it.
  22. Hello guys! Gee, I missed doing sidescrolling shrines. It seems that fighting shrines really take me a bit longer. Apologies for the delay of the shrines' update. To compensate, here is the "riddle" for the new shrines. THREE SHRINES HAVE NOW BEEN CREATED. WHERE ARE THESE WONDERS LOCATED? The game's title is within those statements. Well, it's already a sort of giveaway for the fans of this lovable compilation. Till then. Enjoy the new shrines! I dunno if I have completed some of the lists in the shrines like items or enemies, but all seems complete in my runthroughs of the games. Peace out. Ciao!
  23. Hi guys! Quiz and Dragons have finally been opened, as perhaps one of the most (ehem) colorful shrines? I combined both the Jap and US versions. CHARACTERS is mostly a character (duh) gallery ENEMIES is a "quiz-zidex" COMPLETE from Bulbasaur to God-knows-who the last Pokemon in the last roster is now, bless him. ITEMS is also a complete list of possible obtainable items, though I never have seen Japanese version images of some of the items. BOSSES is a menagerie of subbosses and bosses (the large spaces with dragons) on each path, each stage complete with intro quotes. I just feel the US version was VERY rushed, since the Japanese version was released 2 years after the US version was released. Since D&D TOD arcade was released at that time, it may be possible it was the inspiration of Q&D Japan's RPG-like quiz battles with special effects, HP and leveling-ups. I do enjoy Q&D US's realistic art (but still slow) but I quite appreciate the Japanese Q&D more (though how I read those kanji are out of the question) with their real-time gameboard like approach with anime style characters. Oh, yeeeeeah. About the QUESTIONS. To anyone who requests me of listing each possible question in the game, I will NEVER EVER forgive you. Once more, EVER. There's Wikipedia or bring your stack of encyclopedias if ever you want to play any remaining Q&D in your arcade. I'll have the next shrine/s opened in the form of a simple riddle. Stay tuned!
  24. Thanks very much for appreciating it. BTW, I've also sent back a PM.
