I bought a PS4 and have spent a decent amount of time with it. Great interface, wish it was backwards compatible though with at least PSOne games to hold me over until some new AAA PS4 game comes out. I was looking around my man cave and realized every Sony system I have in there can play Final Fantasy VII-IX except the PS4. Shame really.

You should really take that with a huge grain of salt. Sony has poured a tremendous amount of resources into Home, so they aren't just going to pull the plug all the sudden. The date in itself is suspicious already. Hmm, I guess Home didn't close after all. Games these days are allowing you to unlock Home items the further you get in them too. Looks like things are picking up.

Gamer Horrible movie, really puts us in a bad light. The direction was near seizure inducing and nearly all the actors were just 'there'. I perked up when John Leguizamo made an appearance, but they didn't give him much screen time at all. I give it... 4/10

Yes, all PS3 games are region free. I upgraded my HDD so I can load up all my movies. I still have over 150GB free for content. I just like having everything on the system, as opposed to hooking up an external. Besides, now I can say I have a 500GB PS3 Slim for only $320!

Did you open up your PS3 and swap in the new drive or did you buy an external HDD? I'm not that worried about HDD space though, I think I would be ok with just the 120GB model. We'll see. Yes, it's an internal HDD, and no, it does not void the warranty if you do it. Sony encourages it actually.

Don't even bother getting the 250GB model. I bought the 120GB model and upgraded the HDD to 500GB for only $80. Ordered the HDD from Newegg, really great site!

I like the part where they talk about the Blu-ray. That's exactly what I was talking about earlier. You'd have to change quite a bit, and take out a lot as well just to port this game over. Me thinks it would cost too much. Hell, a second edition was never even done for this game it was so complete when it first came out. M$ would have to pay a lot of money to both Sony and Apple to get this game over to the 360.

I've been here, just recently logged in as Gouken to update the PSN list. I'm Saraph, nice to meet you! You'll notice me on your PSN buddy list. lol See, back then and even now, I try and tell people the system has enormous potential. I can understand that price was your problem, I have only ever spent $250 on a PS3, even on the brand new slim I bought I only spent $240 for it. I'm patient and weed out deals on Craigslist and eBay until I find what I'm looking for. I was hoping the system would at least be cracked to play homebrew right now, but it doesn't seem like that will ever happen. I still enjoy it, the games, and it's media player features though, over 300 Xvid/DivX movies make me happy.

Ban will lead me to purchase another console which cause a bigger dent to my wallet. So, yeah, PS3 would be more economical for me in the long run since Consoles are not cheap here! They will win the lawsuits. You are not supposed to mod your X360 in the 1st place! You miss the point... Ok, I'll see if I can make this as simple as possible. If you're getting free cable and a cable company finds out, what do they do? Shut your cable off. They don't take your VCR/DVD Player/Blu-Ray Player with them. People payed for the basic feature of streaming movies they own to the XBOX 360. If you didn't buy Live! in the first place, you would still have this feature. Taking away basic offline features of the console you bought via hacking your system is against the law. Right now many legitimate XBOX 360 owners were banned during their glee spree, these people have EVERY right to sue M$ for not only taking away console feature that do not require a Live! subscription, but also for falsely accusing them of pirating. Even users who modified their console have a case here. It's like saying 'It's not your XBOX 360, so we can do whatever we want to it.'. Get it now?

The latest ban wave disabled a lot. Anyone who knows me knows that I tell the truth but yes, I am pro-Sony for obvious reasons. I'll list what the ban does to your console... 1. Cannot install games to the HDD 2. Disables all media server access (you cannot stream anything to your 360) 3. In terms of achievements, you cannot play games on your banned 360, remove the HDD and load up those achievements onto your Live! enabled 360. Your gamertag will sync with data from before you were banned. The first two are features provided through software updates for your console or are already inherently there when the 360 was first released. These features should NOT be taken away from gamers, only the ability to connect to XBOX Live!. M$ taking away features you paid for is just asking for a lawsuit.

PS3 has not been hacked. It most likely will never be hacked due to all the security checks in the system. Your best bet is to get a good version of Linux and run emulators on there. No, Linux will not in any way interfere with PSN.
