I was FTP'ing everything perfectly until about a month ago the transfers started to go slower and slower to the point now that transfering even 2MB mp3's takes 20 minutes. Is it possible to get a Hard Drive enclosure and transfer files onto it through the USB?
what method do you use for ftp,crossover cable router???

it isnt emulated on fba xxx pro but it does play fine on coinops reignite.

I made up a new skin for this cracking little emu.
This is a preview of the 640 x 480 version, working on the 1280 x 720 version now...

This crashes/freezes my xbox on shutdown. Same as the last release...
It's never crashed for me on shutdown. Not sure why it crashes on your Xbox.
i had this happen to me in the last release a couple of times.it was when you changed one of the filters and a game like say powerdrift would crash.then when you reset the xbox and loaded up the emulator again and set the filter to let say no filter then the game would work fine,but when you tried to exit out of the emulator to return the dash it would crash.what i did to fix this was to delete the gamsave in the t and u data folders in my e drive.
obviously there isnt this problem anymore in the new biuld.
chrisw80 i am presuming you didnt delete your gamesave from the last biuld of final burn,delete the gamesave in your t and u data folders.
gamesave is called ffff0778.
one you delete it fire up the emulator and it will create a new gamesave.

tried to play r-type delta on psxbox, man that black r-type looks mean as! Can't get the game to run smoothly tho, barely start up so have scrapped that one. Many settings require tinkering I think but I always have trouble with doing that stuff - suffer from a short attention span probably because I play too many games!
Back to midway arcade treasures 3 RUSH 2049 trying to earn a million stunt points to unlock the gauntlet. Man this game is tough!

thanks mate, I can get it to run ok, is it normal to not be able to see the title screen properly and have gfx glitches on the r-type selection hangar?
well no not really,i would suggest going into your e drive and then go to the saves folde and scroll down until youe see the folder called pcsxbox.go into it and delete the folder called rtype delta,and then reboot the emulator and put those settings i posted back in.

i remember bishi bashi its a good laugh.
had a go of charlie ninja last night the humour in that game is hilarious especially the boss on level3,basically a reject from the village people hilarious.

if anyone has a cab the best option there is to use mediax menu for anyne who has tried baed they will know what i am talking about.
just set the mediax menu default.xbe as your boot updash so to speak and you are ready to go.
or another alternative is unleashx have it boot up to your emulators i dont know if unleashx lets you do this but i am geussing yes.the added bonus of unleashx is that it plays preview vids of games or whatever so just have some arcade vids up and running as you scroll through your emulators.
those are the best alternatives for a cab.

@sbpaabck you can just use normal xbmc and have it boot straight to your emulators.just set it in the options.

Can anyone tell how to activate the 'tilting axis' in powerdrift & galaxy force 2 ? (as the player steers left and right, the screen display mirrors the controller's movements and tilts on its axis, in a similar fashion to "After Burner").
garcimak i think you must be using the last version because in the new version when you select powerdrift or galaxy force 2 it lets you select between the original core and the new core.if you select the new core you will get the tilting axis and bloody nice it is to.
thanks for this nes 6502 this is excellent i like the option to select between the cores to get tilt axis in powerdrift and galaxy force2 also turbo ourun runs at a good pace along with most of the games which surprised me so yeah thanks again.

Jackie Chan - The Kung-Fu Master
I mentioned the jackie chan game earlier afew posts back and iq_132 said it woudn't be able to run on xbox, not enough power.
But yeah "Best of Best" looks like a potential game to add.
It's possible I spoke too soon on that. How do the Kaneko Supernova games run on the xbox [gutsn, galpans2, etc]? If they run fairly well, it's possible that Jackie Chan may run fairly well too (it uses the same graphics hardware).
As for Best of Best, that's a fairly simple one to add.
i dont know about gutsn and gals panic2 as i dont have them but i do know that cyvern plays really well.the only one that i couldnt get to load is senkeki striker but like i said cyvern plays fine.

A driving game, running on Sega System 32 hardware, that was not written by Sega, and which doesn't appear to be a hack or a bootleg but a legitimate game in and of itself. It's Slipstream, a racing game by Capcom. Weird!

@neil i dont get any problems with slowdown in that part of the game and i just use the basic settings.

this is a very good guide and help for pcsxbox but if it says dosent work try it anyway as i found that games like strider2,x men children of the atom and raiden dx work by messing around with the settings.
basically if a game dosent load use the 1.4 core version.
Just tried Strider 2 (this game rocks) with these settings. Is it really supposed to run full speed? While the game is playable, I notice slowdowns most of the time with fps dropping at 10-15 e. g. most noticeable at the end of mission 1 VS the dragon emperor. I have the NTSC-U version of the game. Should I try the PAL version or... ?
no you dont if you have played the ps1 version of strider 2 on an actual ps1 then you will notice there is slowdown in that as well,same goes for the arcade version IIRC.

actually skip that i got it working for anyone else who wants to get this game working on xboyadvance here is what you have to do.
change flash type to 128k
change save type to flash.
wou will get some writing but just leave it and it will load up after a minute.if you choose any other settings it will load,you will just get a message saying file data corrupt.

i have been trying to get this game working on the gba emulator xboyadvance which seems like forever.i have tried countless different roms of this game and no luck.for some reason when i load up the game it always tells me save is corrupted.
has anyone had any luck getting this game to boot??

Been looking for games that could be added into coinops, spent a while looking through and found this
Daytona USA ₢ Sega 1993
sega model 2 arcade hardware on xbox,the xbox just dosent have the power under the hood to emulate that game alvarez.
its one of the greatest if not the greatest arcade racing games ever,so if you have a dremacast then i would suggest you hunt down daytona usa 2001 which is an arcade perfect port with extra cars and tracks.

B rap boys does not work properly after stage 1 and matrimelee is not read on rom scan. Using Showcase R3.

as for b rap boys there are some graphic glitches that is already known about but it plays for me after the second stage.
@iq132 i noticed that power instinct legends the third in the series of these great beat emups is not in coinops would it be possible to add it to your list.

thats a pity about the toaplan games as there are some great shooters on their hardware.out of all the toaplan games vimana is the least i ever hear anyone mention.

the pgm games dodonpachi 2 beestorm and knights of valour 2 would be something but i think that might be pushing it.again these 2 games are playable on pc fba.
DoDonPachi 2 isn't playable in any emulator. Kov2 with its arm7 protection processor is quite slow, too slow to emulate nicely on xbox, and too complex to simulate the arm7 (unlike kovsh).
yeah i thought kov2 would be to much for the xbox and i dare say martial masters would be the same.
yeah your right about ddp2 i remember trying ddp2 on a newer biuld of mame.
I just added G-LOC, Turbo Outrun, and Cotton. Do any of the PGM games work on the Xbox?
