Thanks. The advanced video options sounds awesome, would someone please be so kind and snap a photo of it or list the available options? Also, is 128MB RAM a must to run all games, or just recommended? I'm looking at picking up an XBox now, but the price difference is kinda steep. I'm mostly interested in running the PGM CAVE titles as well as other vertical shmups. Sorry if I went off topic. I'm you like cave shmups,that what i like to hear. there are vidoes on youtube of different biulds of coinops which should show you all the available options.the 128mb ram update seems to help run the pgm cave games but the only way i know that is because philexile tried them out.phil has a trusty xbox which is a 128mb ram upgrade AND a 1.4ghz cpu upgrade so we are not sure how games like dodonpachi dai ou jou runs on a normal 733mhz cpu xbox with thr 128mb ram upgrade. but games like progear,dodonpachi,donpachi,battle bakraid,battle garrega,guwange,dangun feveron,esprade,strikers 1945 1,2 and3 and son work fine on a normal xbox with 720phd through the hd compnent cable.

i think vontro is asking about a download link/source for the actual emulator bp,not the actual sourcecode.

coinops epic r6 has been posted for download at snesorama and emuparadise.just go to the xbox sections in the forums of these 2 sites. @bp you might want to start using fileserve for uploading as megaupload is really slow download/upload speeds.fileserve is the one i use these days,just a thought.

i have fast striker on dreamcast and its a fantastic shmup,the best shmup that ng-dev have made.i dont think you will see a neogeo romdump of fast striker for a very long time.the game alone costs about £1500 for the neogeo.

the new version of pcsxbox does have problems with the sound of some games,i noticed this with mortal kombat trilogy so i decided to put the last version of pcsxbox on my xbox hdd as well. unfortunatly the original version of zanac for the ps1 does have that problem for me as well its the same with old version of psxbox.just play the original msx game on bluemsxbox. the music in zanac neo plays fine though in the new version of pcsxbox,for me anyway.

been playing... harmful park on pcsxbox(great 2d shooter) zanac neo again on pcsxbox and last hope pink bullets on dreamcast an improved version of the original with more options,easier levels and some different sprites. last hope pink bullets was made by the same people who made fast striker for the neogeo/dreamcast.

well strikers 1945 2 and 3 dragon blaze gunbird 2 IIRC sol divide. these all run better in the final burn core. also did you add hyper streetfighter 2 anniversary to run in the final burn cps2 core under coinops? i know you can turn off the neogeo core and cps2 core for final burn,it might also be an idea to be able to turn off all the final burn cores you add to coinops as i like to play the mame variants of the games as well just to compare.

make sure the fba neogeo core is turned off in the settings and try the game again. @bp good to see power instinct legends added,also racing hero runs on final burn legends without vmm.

IIRC it was on the old mameox 0.843b years ago and i got really far into the game.

i remember playing it agaes ago but i cant remember having any freezing issues as far as i can recall.

mame uses mostly 0.84 and final brn is based off final burn legends,if you have fbl just point one of the rompaths in coinops to your final burn legends romset. @bp you were asking about moveslists,IIRC fbaxxx pro had a moveslist for all the cps2 fighters like the vs series,streetfighter alphas and so on. Is it an option? when you say saving i assume you mean save states?? if so then i dont think save states are included for the console stuff,if you look at the reame there should be more info concerning that.

i use coinops and final burn legends on my xbox as its worth having both in my opinion,for consoles i use the madmab/xport emus for console and computer.

well deathsmiles got released today in the uk courtesy of rising star games and from what i played so far it seems pretty solid and i am enjoying the horror/halloween theme of the whole game. also got marvel vs capcom 3 today for the 360.....oh and sin and punishment 2 for the wii.
