yip it sure is. 2.5d=3d backgrounds and models with 2d gameplay. bambi get ikaruga,you will not be dissapointed.treasures best game bar none. be warned though hard as hell.

play double dragon 1 and 2 on the earlier versions of mame ie mamex-b6 or mameox0.72. there is some slowdown with the mameox0.84 core i know,but i still think they are very playable on mamedox and mameox128plus. it is the slowdown you are speaking about right? edit/the slight slowdown at times never put me off,but each to their own.

hi bs, just a couple of things,do you want a new thread started right now,for rom requests. also im presuming the keymapping thread is going to be started once the betas up and going,so people can comment on possible changes to controls. id be happy enough to test the roms for you,geussing its just a case of making sure each rom loads up and playability on the actual games is good and dosent suffer any slowdown.

dodonpachi djd and ketsui are coming to 360,wheather or not these get released out of japan,well i doubt it.i just hope that the games will be region free. ive got dodonpachi djd on the ps2,if you like your cave shooters/bullet hell,then you will like these 2 games,never actually played ketsui myself but from what ive seen,it looks very promising. raiden fighters aces was released in japan a few days ago,raiden fighters1,2 and 3 on one disc.unfortunately that disc is region locked,so no raiden love for me,unless the hackers eventually crack the 360 hardware for region free gaming. list of shmups for 360. raiden fighters aces omega five(2.5d) 1942(2.5d version coming soon) shikigami no shiro3 raiden 4(rumour) dodonpachi djd/ketsui triggerheart exelica(2.5d) anymore ive missed please post. so anyone played any of these games,or getting any of them. personally i want omega 5,1942(2.5 updated version),raiden 4,raiden fighters aces and dodon/ketsui.

some roms ive been trying out bs. asura blade(turn off sound and plays very well,reminds me of jo jos bizarre adventure on cpx3) best bout boxing world grand prix 2 f/a(yes that is the name). avenging spirit wonderboy in monsterland burning rival cosmic cop bloody wolf gates of doom dan-ku-ga all the best fam.

it does look good with the screenshot at full screen,looking very promising.

posted this earlier but the post is a bit of a mess. no sound and vmm on mortal kombat 3 ultimate mortal kombat 3 primal rage. sound and vmm off strikers 1945 2 strikers 1945 3. for filters,i use anstropic on my lcd,basically the default settings.i always find that some of the larger roms seem to slowdown or become a little jumpy gameplay wise.when you start messing about with all the different filters and scalers. how about a soundtrack on the rom selection screen,that you could turn off and on,by pressing the X button. all the best fam.

hk$ never released his source bs. the random game idea,mmmmm...... i dont know,as its probably not something i would use,but its a novel idea. i couldnt find a site that shows the difference in the graphics filters bp.maybe someone out there knows. heres the games that require vmm on mortal kombat3 ultimate mortal kombat 3 primal rage (dont know if you want to include this one but it plays really well.) so these 3 require vmm on and sound disabled. threshold 4mb commit size 1024kb distribute 65535 also strikers 1945 2 and 3 play much smoother with sound disabled as well,but vmm must be switched off as both games will give a malloc failure error. you can still play strikers 1945 2 with sound on but it can slow a little bit when it gets busy. i dont know if you want to include strikers1945 3 or not but just thought id let you know. is narc with sound disabled,included as well bp?

most options i dont use apart from,turning vmm on for mortal kombat trilogy and disabling sound,and allowing screen rotation to 90 degrees,so that i can play vertical shooters at full screen,as in dodonpachi,battle garrega,esprade...........,

well im most proud of completing dodonpachi(2d cave shmup)on one credit.its follow up on ps2 is impossible to finish without using continues.

It's still appropriate to release the code once-in-a-while. some emu authors dont even release their sourcode. BTW, I noticed fumanchu that you call BritneyPAIRS as BS, whereas everyone else calls him BP. the sourcecode for mamedox1.1. was released,a few years ago. brineyspairs and ebsay were the people behind mamedox. i cant speak for bs but it seems that mamedox arcades is an ongoing project thats getting updated all the time,so i can understand why he wouldnt want to release the sourcecode.
