Hey guys, I'm currently a freshman at a college in Iowa. I've been trying to figure out what I wanna major in, and I just started looking at game design. Short story even shorter, they don't offer anything like that here. Is there anybody here that knows reputable colleges for game design or game programming in the US? Or is there anybody here that went through with this major??

I wouldn't mind some major change in this screwed up world

Hey guys, one of my bosses just asked me to find him a web-based, SQL-backed, (if possible, written in .net), interactive-calender. I think he needs it for our colleges website so people can put in events and stuff. The one we have right now is pretty much crap, so I'm finding a new one. He said to budget the product to under $1000 annually. If I new SQL and a programming language I think I could just make one, but it'd be a lot less work to just find one that someone has already made and tested.

Ok so first we had America's Army teaching people first aid, now we have GTA teaching people real-world physics. xD Seems like video games are doing as good as school.

Early this morning I watched "Thank You For Smoking", and I just got done watching "The Number 23"

Last night I figured out what we could work on next! We could work on making medicine that not only helps your body, but also WON'T KILL IT!! It's like any medicine now will fix whatever's wrong with you, but it'll give you every side effect of drinking the water in Mexico. xD (No offense to people in Mexico, I'm talking about foreigners that drink the water)

Wow, I've been wondering lately what we're going to do next. I thought we might've made everything we could, and now we're just making everything smaller with higher capacity for data, but I guess not. I can't wait to see what all this new nanotechnology can do.

No offense, but now you're sounding like an alien or something. Friendships are one of the most important things in my life. Do like I do, join something like band or choir or drama. You'll definitely find someone with similar interests in common activities. Then just hang around a person you like.

Ok well my problem's over. I finally told Katie that it'd just be better if I was her friend because us going out would be too much drama in her life on top of everything she already had going on. Then tonight Becky out of no where says she finally wants to go out with me.

I didn't really like many of the commercials this year. They were kinda dumb as far as the ones I saw.

But you're anonymous in the sense that no one knows who you really are, and so can never stick it to you if you say something embarrassing. Just throw your problems out there- you might get just the help you need. I'm having some problems with lady friends lately. There are these two girls that I just freekin love to death. One is named Becky, and the other is Katie. Becky is one of my best friends and I talk to her about everything in my life. We love to hang out and do things together, but another one of my "friends" likes her. I seriously can't see them together and Becky doesn't like him, but he keeps pushing on. And lately he's been trying to push her away from me by telling her to either date me or tell me to stop talking to her. But I think Becky likes me, but Dirk's (my "friend") kinda in the way, I think. The other girl is Katie. Drama queen, talkative, material girl. I guess when I look at it that way I don't really like her as much, but she's one of the friendliest people I've ever met. From the second I started talking to her we've just never really stopped talking. I'm a really caring person so when she's so dramatic I love being there for her. She talks to me when she's crying and I like making her smile. I hang out and text Becky a lot, but I talk to Katie almost as much, and each knows I talk to the other that much. Becky doesn't like me being around Katie cause she just uses drama and everything as amusement and tries to get attention. Katie says Becky is leading me on, but I've never known her to do something like that. But this is hard to know since they're both freshmen this year and I'm a senior. (Just to let you know, I have next to no experience with girls, so I'm like girl retarded) Some one please give me some advice or something. Ask questions as needed.

Dang it. I got the 2nd part downloaded but the website won't let me download more than one frickin file. Help?

Hey guys, after I get home from vacation in 2 weeks I'm going to have the choice of buying either RockBand or Guitar Hero 3. My parents said they would pay for half of RockBand but I just don't know which I like better.

Holy sh*t!! I hate these people. This has to be my favorite type of argument. The parents don't want there kids to see this stuff, but they say it's "too much work" to monitor it. I could go on for days with these people and I think I'd win.
