  1. No, theyre all originals, I just don't get it

hmmm....I'm sorry to say this, but maybe you got ripped off and the mega CD part of the system doesn't work :P

    My condolences.

maybe the cd reader is dirty. Try cleaning the lens. then see if it can plays games. If thaty doesnt work bust inside the system and check if there is any faulty wiring/connections. Well this dosent work I fresh outta ideas

  2. What qualifies as a legendary member? I think Premium Members with over 1000 posts should be given a new title, Loser Members.

yeah what about people like me, who check the site twice a day, been here over a year, and only post when they have valued info to empart? :D

A good title would be "Member with a Life."

    See...SWAMP_THING is smart.

YAY Im a member with a life :-D

  3. When I used P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.16, the resolution was set in 320x240.  I changed it to 640x480 and even higher in the configuration settings, but it still seems to be in 320x240.  Does anyone know how to turn up the resolution in the P.E.Op.S Soft Driver video plugin?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I've never had any problems like this with those plugins. Have you tried using Pete's OpenGL Driver?

  4. Well, lockshaw may not have a PS1/PSX (hence why he/she's using the PS2).  You could try that boot disc at Console Source, but I don't know if it works or not with multi track games.  You could also get a mod-chip of some sort.  That's probably your best bet for getting the games to boot up correctly.

Well I use the same method to boot burned PS1 games Lockshaw uses but I still have myself a PS1. So I am guess he/she has one.

  5. Oh, okay.  I didn't really read up on the "glitches" I just knew they existed.  You don't get anything special, do you?

of course not, these are simply glitches. Although they are quite funny to see a game be humilated.

P.S. for all who havent played this game, go play now and be amazed by greatness.

  6. Well you have a couple of options as far as boot discs go:

    PS1

Breaker Pro as mentioned above, or most any other game enhancing devices (Gameshark, Pro Action Replay, etc.).  I use a Gameshark CDX 3.51 for my PS1 boot disc & it works great :-D

    PS2 CD

Swap Magic PS2 CD Disc, or like the PS1 games, you can use PS2 game enhancing devices, since 99.9% of them come on PS2 CD's.

    PS2 DVD

The only boot disc for PS2 DVD games that I know of is the Swap Magic PS2 DVD disc.  I've heard rumors that for a short time a DVD PS2 gameshark was released but was swiftly cancelled....What I wouldn't pay to get ahold of one of those.....

I use GameShark to boot my PS1 games, too. :( Also Get Swap Magic discs. They are very dependable.

  7. Please don't resurrect topics that are over two months old.

There is nothing wrong with that. It's better starting a new topic. That would be spamming if made an another topic like this. Doesn't our admin advise us to search about old topics before making new ones. Like at RomRequest forum. (but you can think whatever you want tho)

  8. Costco?  I didn't think they carried games...  Anyways, that's a decent price (probably the price its going for now).  Have you beaten the game yet?  Just curious as there are glitches that allow you to get like 200% or something (I think, not positive).

Getting 200% percent map completion is normal. But the Sword Brothers Glitch allow you to get at least up to 275% more. Check the Messages at Gamefaqs.com they have the whole story there.

  9. fixing rom size

sf3 = the real size is about 68 not 48

    sf3 2 = 79 mb

    sf3 3rd = 94 mb

i forgot hehe and today when i meet my friend in my campus he told me that my ex-friend already emulated the sound, what a crap i wish i still friend.......... not , relly i think i should unleash the heidern assassin technique "GO TO HELL" kaboommm

Do that move, steal his computer and then leak this super awesome ultra badass emulator to us.

This ex-friend of yours needs to be kicked in the shins and the genitals.

Yeah, but kick him in the shins first, because then he'll be like "ow this is the worst pain ever" and then you'll do the second one and he'll be all "I was wrong!"

Do it so you can take the credit.

  10. err, i only buy the standard 700MB 80Minute CDRs

How do i do it? Easy!! Most modern DVD/CD burners that burn at 8X or faster can do it

or at least thats what ive noticed, probably because DVD burners have a finer burning lense laser type thing (I actually DO know what im talking about, i just can remember the technical term hehe) so they can overburn more efficiently/accuratly/more

My normal CD Burner does it too. See Strider I told you could do that. I kno Maxell isn't stupid. ( I wish it was tho  ) I am not stupid.

  11. Use ePSXe with Pete's GPU plugin (just google both) and you'll have so many options to set resolution and other stuff you can do what you want with it.

    P.E.Op.s plugins are better.

    Why are they better?

Well they dont screw up on games like pete's plugins.

i.e. streetfighter, tekken, and MegaMan legends.

  12. Are you sure?  I know that some 90 minute CD-Rs disguise themselves as 80 minute CD-Rs (to the burner), but I've never heard of actual 80 minute ones that could go that far.  I think maybe you're mistaken or the label is lying to you, but I can't really say for sure (800MB is a STEEP increase from the normal max.).

If thats the case (about the CDs lying to me :) ) I'm getting more bang for the buck.

  13. I just like total control (is it so wrong? :) ) of the project I'm messing with.  If I ever really got into releasing ISOs (actually CDIs, but you know what I mean), I'd distribute a Selfboot Loader (or whatever its name is) with three NES emulators, DreamSNES, bleemcast beta, a Doom port w/ mods, and some arcade emulators (probably more stuff would go on it as well).  But, alas, I'm lazy when it comes to getting stuff done usually.

Thats cool but If I experiment like that. I will lose a hell of alot of CDs. Right now I'm outta CDs too
