  1. I have this problem with MvsC2 and I believe its SSF third strike, They are both burned and both are the jap. Versions of the game.  This glitch is when the characters are at the far right of the screen the sound goes considerably lower, and when they are the furthest to the right they are completely mute, the music doesn’t change, just the characters sound FX.

its really not that important, and I don’t want to spend the time hunting down another working copy of these games,

Has any one else encountered this problem?

    Thanks.

Try putting the sound on mono. I do this for all my games cause my T.V. only has one speaker :)

P.S. most people dont even do this unless you have great speakers so they dont even need mono

P.S.S You may have a hard time cause the menus may be in Jap

  2. Well here it is!! the long awaited GD-ROM Re-Alignment Guide for your DC, almost garunteed to fix your DC from disc read errors

sorry it took so long, but if your DC has trouble booting games, or cant boot anything at all, this is for you!

    http://shibathedog.stuffhosting.com/GDROM_Align.htm

I think this guide is good. You made alot of effort too. It's so good, it should be Stickeyed

P.S. your living space is dirty :)

  3. I downloaded a PSX bootdisc from a hub and it says you can burn this and swap this disc with your burned copy and play PSX games without a modchip.  IS that true because I've heard that u need a modchip to play burned PSX games no matter what?

Not neccessarily. If the boot disc you downloaded boots w/o problems, yes you can play burned/imports(If you are using NTSC jap) by swapping discs but will need teh top open when you swap and keeping the spin button down firmly. The bootdisc should tell when to swap discs.

If the boot disc does not boot then buy a real boot disc.(maybe from a local import game store or from here http://www.ps2cover.com/breakerprousa.html )

  4. i have a ps2 debugging station  (used to have a blue debugging ps1 also which i traded for a modded ps1) im thinking of selling it for about 1000 OBrO  but if i can snag a patch that will allow me to play burned ps2 games id rather just use that, it plays copied ps1 games and all region ps2 games, however it isnt configurd to play dvd movies. my geuss is it needs a special media to play burned ps2 games. any one have any clue where i can get the patch for it? or someone who buys rare ps2's?

Are you using DVD-Rs to play burned DVD games? If you are trying to play rips you should burn with Alcohol 120 and set the Playstation 2 data type

  5. is it possible to burn and play mvsc2 or street fighter 3 third strike for the dreamcast, does any body actually own a burned copy of the game? These are my two top games that I want.

-Or should i just try my luck searching through the used game stores?

    Thanks

I have a burned copy MvC2 but I dont have the image with me. I havent seen any MvC2 in stores though but Im sure you can SFIII:3rd strike.

  6. whaoh wait a minute, are you telling me i take my Gameshark 2 V3 pop it in, hit boot game, put a burn in and it just works?

or are you using the knife trick...im pretty sure your using a knife trick hehe...that would be scary if it was that easy (remembers how to do it with PS1 GS on PS1...haha...so...stupid....)

I use an alternative to the knife trick. I seen somebody bust their PS2 doing the knife trick, so I like leaving the top loose and slip it off and then swap discs like that.

And to play burned PS1 games you cant use Gameshark2 you need GS1.(I think you can use GS2 to play burned PS2 games but I really doubt it.)

P.S. If you want play burned PS2 games get "Swap Magic" discs :(

  7. How exactly does this suprnova.com bittorent thing work?

It takes a while and it deponds on how many seed are there.Seeds are the distributer of the file and there can be more than one. If you have a cable or DSL connection you can be downloading all night. Also you can stop downloading something at one point and start downloading again from where you left off.

  8. I burned it with Alchohol 120% (make sure you have the latest version) for my friend and i used the Nero convertor for me, the neroconvertor is at www.megagames.com if you need it

When I burned it as an nrg file it still says error and it wont boot in my Dreamcast?

Shibathedog, what speeds did you burn it at? I tried 4x. ALso what other settings do you u have it?

  9. I got it in cdi format but when i burn it and try to play it my dreamcast wont read it.

It also came with a file that says

Burn with DiscJuggler, tell DiscJuggler NO when it asks if you want to repair the image.

    Yes it plays backups.

No it doesnt work with all games, some games have graphical errors.

    Yes its self booting.

Yes this is a beta, bleemcast.

    This is the BLUE version.

Just in case you're wondering about the other 4 versions/colors of bleemcast... the person who cracked it found they are all identical.

Props to the folks that made this happen!

I can send it through it email(or AIM) for whoever wants it.

P.S. Its also at http://bleemcast.no-ip.com/ (its at the top, then just clik BLEEMCAST)
