this was a problem for me for a while too, So I decided to ignore the instructions. Heres what I done to get a perfect copy of the game, Simply download nero go into file/open and select the file type to open as cue sheet, then simply click on the cue sheet in whatever folder you have all the files in and burn.
Also alot of people find that once they burn the game they cant hear the music only the sound effects. This is not a problem with how you burned it, the problem is that the digital line that goes from your cd rom drive to your motherboard is not conected. The digital line is usually a small black connection that fits onto a 4 pin conection on the motherboard.
Hope this helps anyone having any problems.
what version of nero did you use?

The Metal Slug games reminds me of Contra. I love Contra.I remember the first time I ever beat Contra 3:Alien Wars.It was five years after I got the game. Now I remember how ridiculously hard the game was, even on EASY?!?!? IT MAKES ME SO MAD.

There's also a playable SFA2 that came out for Snes just before the system's long run was over.
I give saluts to the almighty Snes.Long live the Snes.
P.S. It would be nice to get the patched version of SFA2

Try Fba(Final Burn Alpha) It's the best for me.

I've got to say Marvel vs. Streetfighter, but I actually grew up playing Streetfighter 2 Turbo on my Snes. For all those who think the SF3 games are perfect, just try Super StreetFighter 2 X on CPS2.That is the most balnced SF game ever made.

If your Nes emulator has this option, enable Vsync or Old sync

Try Castlevania:Symphony of the Night. It's the best Castlevania of all time in my opinion.

Don't worry I got every MMX on ePSXe they all work fine (except that they look a little pixelated) but that wont stop any gamer from playing the best MMX games of its time.
-
I chose ePSXe cause it's the best. I tried all the other PSX emulators(except CVGA?)and the rest couldn't cut it.
