Hello guys! I'm going to participate in a drawing contest about cool anime series from 2007 and 2008... I have no idea about which one I may choose. It is because I usually like watching lots of classic series... I really like good character design and until now.. a friend of mine mentioned Code-Geass... and D-Greyman.. or kinda... I have to say that Code-Geass looks good... but ... is there any other anime title you would mention? I surely have to win that contest!

Hello everybody!! I joined this cool web site a long ago.. but I always forget to post some artwork for you. In fact, I've been out for a while.... Most of time I work on portraits and people, but I always keep trying new things related with different styles. Asian cartoons are quite difficult as American comics. That's why I'll be adding some of them so you can take a look at them and give any comment. GUY: He is surely the coolest and most original ninja around there... Guy is my favourite Street Fighter series character and I like to beat some Ryu's, Ken's and Gouki's players for sure! fullsize YUFFIE : I made this picture lots of days ago... I use to show them at DeviantARt web... and now I included it here in 1EMULATION forums. She is also a ninja (what a coincidence) and one of my fav chars of course! fullsize FAYE VALENTINE: The characters of these series are great.. I mean.. the design style... females are cool drawn... and the plot... excellent... except by the truly sad ending I deslike! fullsize RUI (倉持義美): This character is supposed to be part of a certain game I found by chance. full size LARA CROFT : I surely needed to do Lara Croft's design someday... I've tried most of Tomb Raider titles... and I can't believe I have a decent drawing of her made by myself... Because I don't like posters or big pictures in my room... I guess it is time to do it... American comic style is quite difficult for me... that's why I will need some reference for the rest of body because my knowledge of this topic is not that great... I hope you like it! RINOA & SQUALL : Finally... I was able to find some decent references for this game title's main characters.... I wasn't sure whether to choose 3D character design... or Cartoon style.... so the results shall be quite strange.... ---> I hope you can take your time to write some comments... I'd like to read them later!

mmm.... yeah... character design of these kind of stuff is hardly good... but there are always some exceptions... Hey... I made some designs .... ! it should be great to see your opinion..!

Well... I think Japanese covers look better.... and if you feel troubled about the manuals and Asian titles... then try to learn that bloody language once for all! lol

Hey people.. does somebody LIKE real art? maybe you could understand my opinion.... I call art something that is pleasant to your feelings... when you hear music... you want to hear something really cool... (aerosmith?? ) or beautiful.... (any stuff) which is not unpleasant for your ears right? I guess the same goes with visual art.... you just want to take a look at something good... and it means that colours like somebody said before are well mixed and doesn't makes you take that piece of crap and send it directly to trash. I have to say that I really like real themes like people or just partial details.... but I wouldn't appreciate something that appart from being bad drawn (no possible poetry interpretation ) looks ugly in terms of colours... lol I also should mention that in terms of digital design... there are many cool artist which are able to recreate 3D characters which look awsome... but you still can see that they look like dools... I guess you have seen mines right? bye! RUBIO

hEY.... did you see the Classic Ovas ? I really loved this because it was kinda first Japanese Animation I got... I mean... I just limited myself to see those which were broadcasted on TV... and then I just though about learn English at the same time I had some fun with those cartoons... (english subtitles, japanese dub,,,, --> Spanish native speaker,,, you get it right?). I also considered el Hazard very similar with Ah my goddess in terms of character design... looked really "hand-drawn" style... I really appreciate that.... In fact... I just watched the TV version of El Hazard... now I need to watch the rest of Ovas,,,

Hello! I was just wasting my time on the net, and then I found by chance a game called Orochi Warriors. I just tried to see what was this game about... I watched the game system at youtube,,, and I got interested... Then I tried the PC version and it was very entertaining.... There were a lot of Characters to choose and what I liked most... You wouldn't get bored of killing bad guys.... there are plenty of them! I just wondered to know if you tried it and if you had the chance to compare both versions... I'm thinking to buy a ps2 once for all... because there are many cool games I'd like to try... This game just reminded me a ps3 game demo I tried... something about Gundam Wing... bye guys! RUBIO

I'd like to know if you 've already tried this cool game and what was your real impression. What are the good and bad elements to mention?

I even didn't wanted to keep playing the nineth version. first, my psx died and second,... I have windows vista and these games doensn't work properly... I have to keep changing the epsx configuration everytime I change from Dino Crisis to Final Fantasy... and so. And the main reason why I say that, it's because I never played RPG games until one day.. just for curiousity,,, I got Final Fantasy VII and got quite interested on the tiny characters... but the FF9 chars look just kiddy... although the intro movies looks good,,,, Maybe I will play it once I buy a PS2,,, I can't even wait for take a look at those FF ps2 versions .... I was also going to try Xenogears,,, I liked the intro... but got dissapointed with the graphics... maybe If I should have played it a few years ago.... lol I rather like an still background (like resident evil or final fantasy VII - IX) for scenes than a old 3D try... lol

I saw a few videos at You tube,,, and saw a Japanese guy showing the playgame system... and saw the bosses you mentioned before. It just look modern

Hey,,, I really like xmen... and the main reason I desliked those Xmen Evo is the fact of those cool and adolescent style they gave them. like they were highschool students at the same time they were superheroes. Rogue dark style was not good... they turned her into a kind of gothic girl?.... and what I hated most... was the fact that mystique was the headmaster of the school... and the bad guys were just a group of youngsters....

Hey! I guess I've seen some of those comics you've been mentioning... did you mean a comic like this??? I found a lot of time ago... some volumes from kof 97 - 99 - 2000 2002 ,,, and something like Zillion.. the only problem was ... they were in Chinese..!

Cool Drawings... I like the last character design you added Salorskin; The only ones I recognized it was DareDevil--- and Venom? inside the third comic... what is it called? --- > About spawn,,, a little bit ugly the design there... Did you like this xmen version? (I didn't)

I don't like black and white (monochrome) comic issues unless they are well detailed and drawn. I surely loved those full coloured comics with a cool and classic design. Since I never collected any Asian or US comics, I can't say anything about plot or character moral development. Mr Chibi Kami mentioned that US heroes were mainly super muscled and women over busted.... I guess that's true.. and somehow I appreciate this because it shows or tells something about artist human body knowledge lol... and women looks always good (but similar... ) And I always have troubles to make a design of those characters... muscles are always well drawn (except by current comic artist which looks cool but now good lol!). The reason I don't like current comic design is because they try to look like real photographs or just cool and attractive characters... just look at these... They even changed Psylocke look.... horrible! they seem japanese drawings (they are not bad... but I think that Asian and US style is practically mixed) Long life to Classic Comics!.... a good character design were you can see the hand-drawing style in the whole book: Rogue and Psyocke my fav for sure! About Shin Hokuto no Ken and Jojo's... I saw the first episodes of an OVa and I liked the first mentioned character design. Male characters were surely super muscled but the details were good.. the same goes for women design... Jojo's was completely dissapointing... and it reminded me to Ryu's big foot from the anime movie. A friend of mine said that he felt just like US heroes were always special people, unique and they worked alone to save the world. I think that spongebob is kinda gay.... and his best friend seems to be some kind of drug consumer. I've just seen the spanish dubbed version and It is strange (stupid) but quite funny... I really liked stwo stupid dogs... but I really hate the english dubbed version... I mean... english voices doesn't seem funny for a spanish speaker like me-... lol I'm currently watching : Slayers (again... lol spanish dub - english NO! Japanese -noisy voices!) Orphen (somehow, the char design reminds me Nadesico ... lol well I like it...) Corrector Yui.... (funny!)

Hey Hello! Does RE Code Veronica haVE Two DiskS??? I just have one, but since I haven't played it yet... I didn't know that... About your problem, whenever I get an audio disk on chankast or nullDC it's because it is an image which is not supported by the emulator. As an example: When I want to play DOA 2 on chankast it shows an audio disk, but it's different on nullDC. the same goes for the rest of games which are not supported. RUBIO

Hey ! Thank you Fatal Rose..... SO, did you see my real designs... as you can see, I really like women as topic for an artwork. The same goes with comic and "manga" or even anime. I put a lot of attention in the way they are designed, and that's why I asked everybody about differences between American and Eastern comic. I said before that I like American comics because I consider that characters (specially women) look better in terms of proportion and real details... RUBIO

would you explain me the "drawn out" term?? does that means that character design was not good enough (simple)... am I wrong? ------- I 'm watching Seed Destiny version with my brother,,,, and because I got stucked with the previous season, now I surely have to see what happens then... in fact, i didn't know that there was a Seed Destiny serie.
