My Poor Dreamcast

Well as you may have already Realized, i have caught a Craze to the Dreamcast lately. This is because my friend has given me a Free one ;) This takes me off of the slow and Choppy Chankast to full speed Games on the Dreamcast ;)

So Ritually when ever i buy or receive a second-hand system i always open it up to Clean the insides and the outsides without damaging the system regardless of which one it is. (Ive opened all systems execpt for the 3rd gen consoles and the Systems earlier then the Sega Master System)

Without Opening the Dreamcast, i noticed a little trail of Roach eggs on the Corner of the Disc Cage. This automaticly means time to Clean up. So when i Open it up, my state of mind was that of a Native American Who saw his Land Become a Peice of Scrap Metal and that ONE little Teer wanted to drop from my eye when i saw how Filthy the insides of this Dreamcast was.

It was THICK layers of Roach eggs and A good 50-60 Dead roaches on the Top Layer

Before i contiued to the Next layer of the Bottem Half i went and Cleaned the Top Part with an Old Toothbrush and Soap Which worked like a Charm. So now the Top part is Perfectly Clean. Now on to the Next Layer.

I took off the Laser block and the First Metal barrier and it got only worst. EVEN MORE ROACHES THEN THE FIRST LAYER!!!!!!!!!! And the Metal Barriers are all Stained with roach eggs. yes STAINED!!!!! I tried to use a Brillopad and it smoothens it out but its still Stained :D

The Mobo is infested by Roach Shells and Eggs so i passed it with a Dry Towel and i cleaned the Rest off.

My Dreamcast is Glistening Right Now ;)

But look at whats its been through ;)

That is the most digusting story of any gaming console that I have ever heard of. This friend of yours must have one dirty house. I wouldn't want to look under his bed. :P

And that was honestly the most disgusting System ive ever seen.. If you were to look at the insides, it still look like it has the Roach eggs in it :) And his house is actually quite clean, he said he had the DC in his Closet for a very long time :P
