Thanks to floopy for bringing attention that the first public beta for the latest and greatest Dreamcast emulator, nullDC, has been released. Here is what drkIIRaziel has to say at emuforums regarding the emulator:

QUOTE
After many months of coding, here is the first public beta of nullDC.
Read the ReadME before you ask anything.

Setup (includes all needed runtimes, recomended)
http://emudev.com/funstuff/nullDC_100b1_setup.rar

Plain files :
http://emudev.com/funstuff/nullDC_100b1.rar

oh, and happy april fool's day (make sure to check Google's jokes )

Enjoy

PS. Site/forums should be up within this week
PS2. This is rev 525-118

>> Download the setup file (with installer) here. (Recommended)
>> Download the plain files here.

>> nullDC Compatibility List (post your compatibility results!)

>> nullDC Screenshots Thread (post your own screenshots!)

>> DreamCast Emulation Forum (talk about the nullDC emulator and more!)

Congratulations to the nullDC team, this is some great work. We have tested this emulator and it is now the best DreamCast emulator available. Most games emulate/run at FULL SPEED with minor glitches, if not, unnoticeable glitches.

Some may find it handy to use Xpadder rather than Joy2Key or stock keyboard bindings.

I have a profile setup for Xpadder to work with stock nullDC binds using a Logitech Dual Action gamepad...you can find it here...might help some get up to speed more quickly.

Anyways just a little fyi

I've made a tutorial on how to use Xpadder to set up on a joypad here...

http://*******/board/showthread.php?p=2879#

If this goes against the board rules in any way, then I must've overlooked it and I apologize...I'm just trying to help out the public.

Seems like a very helpful tutorial! thumbsup.gif

As far as board rules, we'd prefer you make a new thread in our DreamCast forum with the contents of your post instead of linking it to a post in your own forums.

Otherwise, no harm done.

EDIT: Errrr... I see your forums has rom request forums and links to roms. Sorry bud, but we can't allow links to sites/forums that do that. It's the first 3 board rules.

Well it seems Project justice works fine and on a 50 frame rate might be higher but my comp has been on 2 days straight.
